Minho sat on a bench in the middle of the long hallway. It was during a recess in court and he was having a hard time actually thinking about what had happened.

Things were going good, other than the way Jeong-Hoon was totally convincing people he was the victim. That was a problem for another time though.

Minho kept thinking back to the night before when he had met Jisung and held him in his arms. It was so surreal, but he couldn't imagine ever doing it again.

What really stuck out to him though was the name that Jisung had called him.

Minnie

Jisung had called him that one or two times before, as well as other people, and he never really liked the name. It made him feel insecure about his masculinity, not to mention vulnerable—for a multitude of reasons.

It had been mentioned once or twice before how he was bullied in middle school, but he never talked about that. Ever. Middle school were the worst years of his life, even compared to the last 8 months.

He had been super depressed, and that was around the time that he had started getting suicidal as well as self harming. By the time he had moved out of his parents house he had gotten himself clean though.

Why did he hate the nickname 'Minnie' though? Well, that was what his bullies called him.

Ironically similar to how Jeong-Hoon calls Jisung 'Jiji'.

Chan had been the only one who knew about that, and he only knew who knew he had self harmed at some point – he only actually found out after it had stopped though.

Minho had been clean since the tenth grade, so when Chris found out he was back to doing it again it was a reasonable reaction to be disappointed. Suppose they both should have seen it coming though.

"Minho?"

He lifted his head up to see the familiar, yet so very aggravating, face of Mr. Gwan.

"You're not supposed to be talking to me Mr. Gwan." Minho said blandly, looking back down at the floor. He had come here for some peice and quiet, yet this lawyer wouldn't leave him alone.

"Ah, but Minho, I just wanted to see how you feel. I care about you. This type of thing could take a serious tole on your mental health." He acted as if he might actually care, but Minho knew better.

He was just some lawyer wriggling his way into places he should definitely not be. And though that was annoying, he was only doing his job right?

"Hm?" Minho scolded himself for engaging farther. He was going to get himself in trouble doing this.

"It can't be healthy for you to be hurting such a close friend of yours. You and Jeong-Hoon have been friends since tenth grade, no doubt you two have such a stong connection. It must be hard on your morals to do something so..." he looked for the right word, "So awful."

Minho debated whether he should screw himself over and say something, and in the end he totally did, "I haven't considered him my friends for the past two and a half years. The only thing that's putting a tole on my mental health was watching Jeong-Hoon torment Jisung day after day. He deserves so much better."

Mr. Gwan seemed unsatisfied by this answer, not getting any good information from it, so he kept talking, "Remind me, weren't you the one that blackmailed Jisung into sleeping with you?"

"Isn't Jeong-Hoon the one that molested and abused him?" He snapped back, "Besides, me and Jisung never slept together anyways."

Mr. Gwan pursed his lips slightly, "I don't think you understand how much trouble this could get you in. Filing false claims on this level could get you a serious punishment."

Minho looked up and smiled at him tightly, "Then I suppose it's a good thing that I'm not lying."

"Well the—"

"Mr. Gwan I'm going to have to ask you to please step away from my client. You have no business talking to him or gathering any information from him on the case." Ms. Kang stepped up behind him.

She had her hair in a tight bun and a sharp suit on. She looked tremendously intimidating and very professional.

Mr. Gwan nodded, throwing one last glance at Minho before stepping back and leaving in a kind of forced calmness.

"Minho, for the love of God will you stop doing things to compromise this case?" She scolded, taking a seat on the bench, "You know you shouldn't have said a word to him."

Minho sighed, "Yeah. I know."

She gave him a look through her pereferal vision, "Do you really care about putting Jeong-Hoon behind bars? Or just protecting Jisung."

"Both."

"I know that's the wrong answer Minho. Give me the truth." She relaxed slightly as well.

Minho chewing on the inside of his lip, thinking, "Yeah, I only care about Jisung. Jeong-Hoon being behind bars is just an upside. Means I won't be in trouble that he disappeared."

"You can't say that type of thing, Minho. It makes you look guilty."

"No one is here to witness me saying it, and your my lawyer so this is confidential."

She let out a breath through her nose, "Still, you need to he more careful about this stuff. If you keep it up Jisung might get hurt."

"Yeah, no. Sorry."
