After talking to Jisung Minho had gone home to think of ways to help the poor boy and fix this whole mess.
One thought he had was to kill Jeong-Hoon, but then quite a few problems arose with that plan and he decided it probably best to forget. He didn't like the sound of jail time.
If worst came to worst though...
He was however pleased with another idea he thought of, though it had some flaws of its own. He was thinking that he could acquire his fathers help in the matter.
His father ran a business and though Minho never knew the full details of the man's career, he knew that he had some sort of top secret military services.
Perhaps the mafia...
Not to mention that his father could bend the law to his will with the sheer power he held over so many people. The front of his business was completely normal, but behind all the office work and paper, there was a darker, and probably slightly illegal side.
His father had what Minho liked to call, "Gucci cops", simply because they were Gucci versions of any regular police worker. Its also worth mentioning that the man had full control over a whole army of them.
Now what did Minho need from them? He needed his father to send out a few of them and silently dig up information on Jeong-Hoon and JinYoung, hopefully sending them to jail, while simultaneously keeping Minho and Jisung safe.
He knew that his father's men were more than capable of finding evidence to use against them in court, but the real kicker was convincing his father.
He needed a reason that didn't involve bringing up Jisung or his relationship with Jisung while also keeping some other secrets that Minho held, safe.
He knew it would be unbelievably easy for his father to find these things out though, so he didn't have high hopes.
If being disowned for being gay was what was going to keep Jisung safe, so be it.
He knocked on his fathers office door now, feeling way to anxious for his own good. There was a small silence before his father called for them to come inside.
Minho peeped the door open, peering inside just enough to see his father sitting at his desk working before he stepped in fully. Minho stood awkwardly, waiting for his father to look up from his work.
"Please come inside and close the door- Minho?" He asked, realizing it wasn't one of his assistants.
Minho had come all the way to his office out in the city to talk to his father, and even had to put up with random office workers stopping him him in the hallways to say hi. Why did they always feel the need to acknowledge him simply because his father was their boss?
"Good morning, Sir." Minho bowed, "I was hoping to catch a word with you..?" He asked hesitantly.
"Sure. Just make it quick, Minho. I still have quite a bit of work to complete today." He said motioning to the seat in front of his desk.
"Of course." Minho spoke, trying to make his voice sound less shaky. Telling his father about this could either be the best or worst decision he'd ever make.
"Well, I haven't got all day."
Minho nodded, "Right, Sir.." he took a deep breath before speaking, "I need to ask a favor of you, and it's no small favor— at least not for me."
"Mm."
"I have this 'friend', he's an unstable psychopath who has ruthlessly hurt too many people to count, and I want you to get a few of your men to do some digging on him so he can be put in jail.."
"Oh..?" His father asked, "What fo you mean by 'hurts people'?"
Minho thought for a moment, "He'll beat people up, and I mean that in a sense that he can and has put people in a coma. He has seven too many rape cases, and I've seen him peel the skin off of two separate animals, while they were still alive."
"He seems like quite the predicament. If he's done such terrible things though, tell me Minho, how is he still roaming free?" His father inquired.
"Because he's a two faced, lying, bitch, that's why. No teacher in that school would ever believe he'd do something bad." Minho stated blankly, "He's a master manipulater too and could probably gaslight just about anyone."
"So why don't you ask the standard police to deal with him?" He asked, "I don't understand why it has to be the responsibility of my men."
"You don't understand, I can't risk this. If he found out that I was plotting something against him, Appa, he will kill me, and probably other people that I love." Minho would have stated Jisung directly, but he couldn't really say much about the boy.
His father sighed, "I'll look into it Minho. Leave his name with the front desk lady and I'll deal with it later today."
"Thank you.." Minho whispered, feeling relieved, "Thank you.."
"I'm warning you though Minho, if this isn't worth my time, there will be consequences." He said firmly.
Minho nodded and got up to leave but his father stopped him again, "I have one condition however.."
Now this didn't sound great. His father could be unreasonable at times, and he worried that whatever this 'condition' was, was going to be unachievable.
"Yes, sir?"
"You need to focus on your studies with the responsibility I've just taken off of your shoulders. Your failing Chemistry and if you don't get your grades up by the end of this semester, you dont graduate." He said, "You need to put more work into your academics."
Minho nodded, his father was right anyway, "Yes, sir."
Minho then left the office, closing the door behind himself and smiled. This was amazing.
He knew that he was completely risking his relationship with his father by encouraging him to look into his personal life, but it would be worth it if it meant Jisung would be safe, right?
Jisung was his main priority right now, and he would do anything to make sure he felt secure.
Sometimes it was hard to believe how much he liked Jisung.. but he did. He really did.
