Now Jisung was on a whole new level of depressed. Minho had totally shut down any chance of ever having a relationship with one another and Jisung knew why.

He had seen this coming from the start so why was it hurting this damn much when it actually happened? Maybe its the after effects of effectively getting his hoped up and then proceeding to smash them into the tiniest pieces imaginable.

No, smaller. Smaller than you could ever know.

It didn't help that his dad still wasn't looking at him either. They didn't really interact past acknowledging eachother when they were both in one room, or unless his dad wanted to talk to him.

Like he did this morning when he got a call on the land-line. He had picked it up and given a very emotionless response, so Jisung thought it was no big deal.

That was until he clicked the phone down, somewhat looked in Jisung's direction and said, "He's in custody."

He had to say no more for Jisung to understand what he meant. Jeong-Hoon was officially in restraints and Jisung would no longer have to worry about being bombarded in the hallways.

Jisung knew that this wasn't the end of ut though when he picked up his phone in the morning. He checked his Instagram like usual only to find a bunch of DMs from people he didn't talk to.

They were all something along the lines of:

'Did you just get Jeong-Hoon arrested?'

'Is minho actually a fag'

'Is the news true?'

'Is Jeong-Hoon actually gone?'

'Faggot'

'You're ruining minhos name'

'Bitch'

Jisung felt his heart drop to the bottom of his stomach reading all of the messages. The first thing he did was go to his new app and search up Minho's father's name. The first thing that popped up what a very recent article.

The title read:

Lee Minho, Successful business man; Lee Donghae's son, part of an investigation with his fellow classmate Han Jisung in an attempt to convict 'psycho' Kang Jeong-Hoon of multiple criminal charges against Mr. Han...

The article was painful to read, making Jisung seem like a hopeless romantic falling for his toxic bully while trying to get his other bully arrested.

It highlighted a lot of things that Jisung did not want on the internet, but there was nothing he could do. He had been warned that this would happen, wasn't he?

He remembered how his dad had said that his name might not even show up, but clearly this was bullshit.

That wasn't really his main concern though—it was Minho. The elder had just been outed as gay to an entire school through the worst method possible. He felt bad for the elder.

Minho had said before that he had no intentions of ever telling anyone in that school who he really was, but that wouldn't work out now. People were cruel. Who gave anyone permission to out him like that?

Who even told the press in the first damn place?

Jisung started to get angry. Yes, he was upset about how things ended with minho – very – but that didn't mean he didn't care for the older. He loved him after all.

Who in their right mind would think it was okay to out a kid as gay to literally everyone without even having the decency to tell him first? It was so fucked up and it got Jisung pissed.

He had a hunch that Minho probably wasn't going back to school tomorrow, in fact, they had been given off school until this whole issue had been solved, because the whole premis of it was that Jisung was unsafe at school.

What about when they did go back though? Minho would be targeted relentlessly and probably Jisung too—but his own problems were the least of his worries.

He wanted to call or text Minho so bad to tell him everything was going to be okay, but it was obvious that he really shouldn't. From his father's warnings to the way Minho had dismissed their relationship, every flag said not to do it.

Jisung jumped when his phone started to ring from on his desk. He basically never had anyone call him without warning so this was strange, and he didn't recognize the caller ID.

He clicked the line on, hearing a recording about how someone from jail was trying to call him and to press 1 if he would like to continue.

Obviously Jisung caught on immediately and his hands started to tremble, but this had to be a sick prank from someone at school right? It didn't matter how they got his phone number...

He swallowed hard and pressed 1, hearing a silence. "Hello?" He asked, not even a fraction of how prepared he should have been for what came next.

"You're playing with fire, Jiji."

Jisung nearly dropped his phone to get away, but instead just froze where he was, unable to speak.

"You probably think you have this all in the bag, huh? Good luck." He could hear him chuckled in the background, "This juvenile detention center won't hold me for too long."

"H-how are you calling me.." he whispered under his breath, unable to fully speak out loud. No matter how much he wanted to scream for someone he couldn't.

Jeong-Hoon wasn't anywhere near him but the hairs on his arms still stuck up on end and he started to feel paranoid that the elder was watching him somehow. He was messing with his head.

"I got one call and I chose to use it on you. Isn't that nice of me, even after you betrayed all the trust we worked on. You'd been doing so well Jiji—"

Jisung cut off the line, throwing his phone as hard as he could against the wall, watching the screen crack and shatter into a million tiny pieces. The phone shut off immediately and just about anyone could tell it was broken.

Way beyond repair.

Jisung breathed heavily, staring at the item as if he was scared Jeong-Hoon was going to come through it and kill him.

He had never been more petrified of such a simple object...
