Though he was still in a bad mood and rather distraught, the time soon came came Jisung to go back and meet with the lawyer again.

This time Mr. Kim had spoken personally with a few more people. He had statements from Felix, his father, Minho, Chan – even Jeongin gave a statement about the whole thing.

His lawyer and Minho's lawyer worked very closely with one another, working on the same case. Jisung knew that soon enough him and Minho would have to talk about it in the same room.. together.

Yes, they both knew everything about everything, but the two of them had never really had a direct conversation about the things that had happened and it seemed scary.

What if Jisung said something wrong? Minho could get mad.

"Ah, love to see you again Jisung. Are you well?" Mr. Kim asked stepping into the room with his clipboard and pen in hand.

Jisung nodded even though it was a lie. He was still doing terrible after that fight with Felix, but that was no concern to his lawyer.

"Thats great to see." He sat down across from Jisung in a leather, arm chair, "So, I've had the pleasure of talking to a few more people including Lee Minho, Lee Felix, Bang Chan and Yang Jeongin. I spoke with your father on this a few times as well and I think I have a pretty confident handle on the situation." He smiled.

Jisung nodded.

"Today I'm only here to ask you a few more specific questions on the case, okay? If you ever recall anything you think might be important be sure to tell me." He scribbled something down at the top of the page.

Jisung nodded.

"And remember, there is an audio recording sitting on the table right beside you. It's just for legal reasons. Anything you tell me is strictly confidential unless otherwise specified." He motioned with his pen to a small, black, speaker looking device.

Jisung nodded.

"Alright. Shall we begin now?"

Jisung nodded.

"Do you remember the exact day of the year that Minho took your property? The diary that is." He held his pen, ready to write something down. Why didn't he use a computer?

Jisung had to think on this for a moment, "Uhmm... it had to have been about September 5th." He said, unsure, "I don't entirely know."

"No, that's good. It fits nicely with Lee Minho's answer." He smiled comfortingly. Jisung liked that Mr. Kim was so kind, it made him feel at ease, "Have you since gotten the diary back?"

Jisung shook his head, "No I have not."

"Mhm." He wrote something knew, "Why do you think that is? Is Minho using it as some type of black mail – as he did when he first got ahold of it."

"No, no he's not. I honestly have no idea why he hasn't given it back – it's possible he forgot he even took it on the first place " he shrugged.

Mr. Kim didn't give a verbal response and simply nodded, taking a moment to think. The silence in the room gave Jisung mind time to slip into other thoughts, about Felix again.

Had that fight actually been the end of their elementary school friendship? If Felix actually felt that way there was a chance that it couldn't be fixed.

It was a matter of how much he hated Jisung really.

"Have you ever initiated contact with Minho?" Was what drew him from his thoughts after a few more seconds.

Jisung nodded, "Of course. I talk to him all the time, or at least I try to."

"Mhm." A pause of silence, "Have you ever initiated contact with Jeong-Hoon or JinYoung?"

"No. I've never even thought about it – I do my best to stay as far away from them as I can."

"Mmk." Another few seconds of silence, "What is your relationship with Junhae?"

Jisung shrugged, "I don't know him well at all, but he honestly seems like a fine person – at least compared to Jeong-Hoon. I don't really care for him, but I don't have any intention of getting him in trouble."

"So he's never done anything to harm you?" Mr. Kim asked, not even looking up.

Jisung shook his head, "No, he hasn't. He's never tried to help me either though; hes just kind of.. there."

"I see." Jisung got no more of a reply for the next 10 seconds. This whole thing was kind of.. unreal. To think that within the next two months, Jeong-Hoon would be gone.. for good.

"So uhm, is it okay if I ask you a question?" Jisung asked, hesitant.

"Of course. Go ahead."

"How does this all play out..? Like, when we're ready to go to court, what happens then?" Jisung twiddled his thumbs.

"Ah yes. When were ready to take him to court we get the police involved we present them with our evidence, and they arrest him if they think it's a genuine amount. Because he's a threat to you and Minho, he'll most likely be kept in custody through the whole thing." He explained.

"And.. if he does get convicted, how long do you think it will last?"

"The prison sentence?"

"Yeah.. that."

Mr. Kim thought for a moment, "Well, he'll probably be charged on cases of sexual assault, harassment, abuse, animal cruelty, and theft.. so possibly up to 20 years." He estimated.

"Theft?" Jisung asked. He had no memory of ever having a problem with Jeong-Hoon stealing.

"Oh, that's a separate charge from what he's done to you. No need to worry about it." He brushed the concern away.

Jisung nodded, "What about when he gets out? How do we know he won't try to hurt me or Minho..?"

"Well there will be a restraining order for sure, not to mention he will be kept on watch. There's a good chance he'll end up in a long term psychiatric ward, and if that's the case he might be there for over 20 years. There's no limit on a psychopath if he's a danger to society." He added.

This sounded like good knews. If he ended up in a psych ward so many problems would be solved.

"Okay.. thats comforting to know."
