Minho tagged along behind the other two boys, kicking a rock with his foot over and over again as they went.

This had all been Jeong-Hoon's idea, like it always was. To go into the sketchy part of town to steal some drugs from homeless people, beat wild cats and chase away the street dogs.

Junhae always looked petrified. He constantly checked back over his shoulder for people, and he was always the one to say, "Should we be doing this?"

Jeong-Hoon always found it increasingly annoying, while it seemed like the other two boys agreed with silence.

These were the places that drunk men with guns, prostitutes and homeless people roamed, waiting for their next victim.

Seeing as the four of them were some shitty high schoolers, they were also probably just really easy targets to get robbed, jumped, or killed even.

If Minho's father was to find out about the things he did, he would end up in the cellar.

"Here." JinYoung handed a cigarette to Minho, ans the boy gladly took it taking a large puff to calm his raging nerves.

Junhae took it next, using his dirt covered and shaky hands to lift it to his mouth, coughing and hacking when he breathed in the painful smoke to his virgin lungs.

"You're such a pussy." Jeong-Hoon mocked snatching it from the boys hands, "Nothing is gonna happen that we can't handle. Right boys?" He looked back at the two walked behind him.

Minho nodded in affirmation.

"Fuck yeah." JinYoung nodded with a smirk on his face, "We could beat any of these shit lords up."

Minho knew the two of them were being much to cocky, and JinYoung was deep down terrified of the dark night that crept over his cleanly shaved face.

If one of them where to say one wrong thing to the wrong person, they'd all end up dead.

Minho glanced over to the small boy beside him. He was breathing heavily trying to control his racing mind. You could see his hands visibly shaking under the fear.

"Oi, look at this." Jeong-Hoon stopped his long strides and stood over a stray cat.

It was separated from the normal groups they travel in, and laying in a heap on the dusty gravel. It's breathing was light and shallow, it's ribcage poking through its skin like it hadn't eaten in weeks.

TW - Violence and gore

"Leave it be." Minho tried, but I was too late. Jeong-Hoon picked up the limp creature and threw it as hard as he could against the red brick wall over the dumpster.

It let out a screeching cry of agony, the crack of one of its bones being audible among the boys. It fell onto the trash bin in another mewl of pain.

Junhae jumped back about a foot, tears welling at his wide glossed over eyes.

The street was still clearly visible from where the small group stood, only 6 feet into the dark alley way. Minho debated whether he should make a run for it before things got more serious.

Jeong-Hoon whipped a pocket knife from his jeans pocket, and pressed the button so the blade sprung from its hiding place.

He let out a dark chuckle, placing the blade to the brittle and dry flesh of the cat which was now rapidly breathing trying its hardest to pick itself up and run away.

It called out into the night for one or any of its many pack members, but they were long gone. This cat was all alone.

Slowly the boy slid the sharp blade over the flesh, creating a steady flow of blood that just wasn't enough to kill the cat. He repeated the motion over and over again, laughing each time the cat cried out.

Its screeches echoed over the empty and silent surroundings. Junhae was was fully crying, but he didn't dare to make a sound.

JinYoung kept a straight face, but Minho knew him well enough to know that he wasn't liking this at all. In his mind he was most likely gagging.

A pool of a deep red liquid oozed slowly over the lid of the dumpster, dripping slowly onto the ground and splashing into a puddle on the floor.

Drip.. drop.. drip... drop... drip.. drop..

All that Minho could focus in was the slowly fading cried the of the cat that was trying to hard to stay alive.

Minho watched in hidden horror, as Jeong-Hoon pulled up the skin of the cat, pulling from its tail, agonizingly slow, all the way to that cats head.

The muscles pulsated and jerked and the raw blood and spine was revealed to the boys...

Jeong-Hoon finally snapped the blade back into the knife, and slipped it back into his pocket, but not before turning to Junhae, looking him dead in the eye, and rolling his tongue over the blade.

He then swallowed the blood and put it away.

Junhae took a step back, put his hand to his stomach with this look on his face that portrayed nothing but fear.

He heaved over to the side and hurled up the entirety of his stomach. The sound of the liquid splashed in the ground, echoing over the alley way.

Then the other boys returned their attention to the cat, which was letting out its final weak mewls for help, blood still oozing out of its body and eyes.

A final leaking sound of air escaped the cat, and they all knew it had died.

Jeong-Hoon picked it up to show the rest of them, but the sound of a car stole their attention, and a black vehicle came to a stop in front of them.

As soon as Chris stepped out of the car with a look on his face that instilled fear even slightly into Jeong-Hoon, Minho knew that his night was long since over.

"Get in the car Minho." He growled stepping up, looking the boy in the eyes with a dead serious look.

Minho glanced over slightly to the other boys, looking for Jeong-Hoons response. "Why should I? You don't control me." Minho snapped.

He knew that at home, he never would have talked back like that but in front of these guys? He needed to..

"I'll tell you why Minho, because if you don't get in yourself, I'll fucking force you. What do you think Appa would think of all this huh?"

Minho bit his lip knowing Chan was right, but Jeong-Hoon spoke up, "Don't be a fag Minho, come on. He doesn't control you."

Minho was about to take a step back towards his 'friends', but Chan was quick to take a swing at Minho, knocking his head into the wall.

The last thing he heard was Jeong-Hoon laughing, "Oh shit!" He had said finding the whole thing funny.
