Ch. 109

"Y'know Jisung, I'm starting to give up on you ever letting go of him..." Felix sighed, scribbling something into his notebook, presumably trying to finish some last minute homework.

"You're right, I will never let him go. I think this might actually work!" Jisung clapped his hands together, making tiny jumps of excitement.

Felix smiled, happy that his friend was starting to get so positive again, "Well, I supposed I can't he mad..." he trailed off, "Is he treating you well?"

Jisung nodded quickly, still jumping up and down, "He's so nice! He changed now, I really believe it!" He cried out, grinning from ear to ear, "I think once Jeong-Hoon is out of the picture, we can actually start to be together! Like, for real this time."

Felix's face dropped slightly, "What do you mean 'when Jeong-Hoon is out of the picture'...? Are you guys gonna.. kill him..?" The boy asked, seeming kind of worried now.

"What no – I was going to tell you about that earlier, but then I figured this was super good news so I had to tell you in person." He said with a hint of mischief in his voice.

"Oh?" Felix kinked his eyebrows together, "I'm confused.."

Jisung plopped down onto the couch next to Felix, grabbing his hands into his own, "Minho got his dad to look into Jeong-Hoon and JinYoung, and now we're taking them to court— and don't worry about us, because we have complete protection from being hurt by this, and, and, at first I didn't want to do it because I was scared, but my dad made me."

Felix only sat there for a moment, as if he hadn't actually heard a word of what Jisung said, and then spoke again, "Why is your dad making you..?"

"Oh," Jisung started, "Well Mr. Lee, Minho's dad, is my fathers boss – but you knew that – told my dad, and then my dad got all mad like 'anyone that hurts my son deserves to rot in hell!', and that's all cute and all, until you realize that it also includes Minho."

Felix took a moment to think about this, "So does that mean that your father is mad at Minho?"

Jisung nodded, "He says that apart from the court cases, we should never hear of, talk of or see eachother at all. This isn't going to stop us from having a relationship though. When the court cases are done, and Jeong-Hoon and JinYoung are put away for good, we'll officially start dating. I can't wait."

The other boys face shifted into one of discomfort and worry, hesitating to say something that might ruin his friends mood, "Don't you think that something like this is risky..? What if you get caught? Things will be undoubtedly even harder for the two of you."

Jisung nodded, "I know.. I thought about that as well." He took a moment pause, "But I really think this is worth it. If you knew for how long and for how much I've liked Minho.. you would have done the same thing."

Felix nodded, agreeing with the fact even though he still had his doubts on the issue, "Yeah.. right. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be trying to question your own life decisions."

Jisung giggled, leaning forward to lay his chest on Felix, "No, that's okay. I really appreciate having a friend that cares for me enough to call out my mistakes – this just isn't one of them."

Felix smiled as well, "Okay." He said softly, enjoying the physical comfort that came with cuddling Jisung. Ever since everything had started to get more serious, they had been spending much less time together, so now that they were finally here it only felt so much better.

Felix was glad that soon enough all of these issues would be gone, though he still worried that this plan might collapse. Who was he to question this though?

Having Jisung as a friend always meant the world, and it was nice to know that Felix wouldn't have to lose him any time soon.

"So how's Chan?" Jisung asked in the comfortable silence.

Felix smiled to himself, "We've been hanging out lately, mostly at his house. He's just so nice and so cute and so gentle, and yet, he would probably do anything to protect his friends." He admired.

Jisung felt happy for his friend to have such a positive distraction, "Maybe one day.. when you turn 18, you can have something more?" He inquired.

"Yes.." Felix started, "I've thought about that, and theoretically that would work, but my problem lies within the fact that Chan is straight.." he sighed, "Nothing matters if Chan isn't even into guys."

"Did he say he was straight?"

"No.."

"Well then? How are you to assume he's straight?" Jisung asked, poking at Felix's stomach.

"He never said he was gay either. Generally when you're straight you dont say it because you assume that other people just know. It's the default." Felix mentioned.

Jisung nodded, getting his point, "But that's not conclusive evidence. Why don't don't ask him? Or ask Hyunjin or something, that guy seems to know everything about any one."

Jisung looked up after a whole of not getting any response, only to see Felix fast asleep on the bed. Jisung smiled, "Cute." He whispered.

Maybe they would finish that conversation when he woke up.
