No matter how much he tossed around and shifted in the sheets, Jisung couldn't bring himself to actually fall asleep. He was scared of having another bad dream.

He kept having this one nightmare about Jeong-Hoon coming to kill him and it wouldn't leave him alone no matter what he did. The image was burned in his mind.

He felt pent up and suffocated sitting at home all day. He knew he would have to go back to court tomorrow and he wasn't excited. Going the first time was just as bad as his mind had made it out to be.

It was like breaking your leg, but then even after you know how bad it feels something forces you to break it even more.

Jisung sighed, getting out of bed and waddling out of his bedroom. He was wearing Minho's sweater—for the 6th time this week—and some sweatpants. He loved Minho's sweater and how it still smelt vaguely of the elder.

He went down the stairs into the kitchen, the whole house being dark. Light trickled in the windows from the street lamps outside, and the clock on the microwave, but that was about it.

Staring out the window, Jisung got an urge to go outside for a walk. Who knows, maybe something cool will happen.

. . .

It was kind of chilly at 1:24am as he walked down the streets. His feet crunched against the snow that was still melting on the ground and it reminded him of how it was almost March.

He should get Hyunjin a present for his birthday soon.

He probably should have put on a warmer jacket than just Minho's sweater, but it was too late now. He was already too close to his destination.

Originally he hadn't known where he was going, but as soon as he saw the bridge he knew. He wanted to go to the lookout over the lake, the one with the pretty vines. At least in the summer.

It seemed like a good place to sit on the bench and look out over the railing to clear his mind. He also figured that at this time of night no one would be there to witness him.

As he neared though, he started to make out a figure in the darkness. He wanted to turn away and go home, but for some reason he felt like he recognized them.

He got closer peered at them from a far, before they had noticed his presence. When he realized who it was he started to walk forward faster, wondering if Minho was really standing there.

What was more though, was he was standing super close to the edge, peering straight down at the calm water.

"Minho?" Jisung called out, the elders head swiveled to see the boy standing only ten meters away.

Minho immediately started to leave, not wanting to deal with this, "We can't be talking Jisung."

Honestly? Minho would have loved to run up and pull the younger into his arms, but the problem was; thinking of Jisung hurt enough, but to see and talk to him would hurt on a whole new level. He figured it best to simply avoid the whole interaction.

"I wanted to thank you," Jisung suddenly blurted out, the elder turning around in confusion, "For uhm.. punching Jeong-Hoon."

Minho let off a dry chuckle, not being able to turn away and leave now that he was standing face to face with the younger. "He had it coming. My lawyer's not so happy though."

Jisung nodded and a heavy silence washed over him until until he realized why he had come running in the first place. "Hey, what were you doing leaning over the edge like that."

Minho shrugged, "I was think of jumping to be honest."

Jisung stepped forward, eyes wide, "Minho you weren't really—"

"Not to kill myself, just for the thrill of it. Plus, it's too shallow to drown here anyway."  He shrugged, seeming to inch closer.

Jisung heaved a sigh, closing his eyes lightly, "Minho you can't scare me like that." He scolded, but the other stayed silent.

The two looked at eachother in the comfortable glow of the moon, "You have no idea how much I missed the way you say my name." He whispered, now reaching out to place his hand on Jisung's face.

Jisung let out a puff of air, "You have no idea how much I miss saying it. I don't wanna get over you.. at all." He let his hand lightly pull on the elders shirt, "I feel so lonely without you Minnie," his voice came out as a breath, steaming up in front of his face.

"We can't Jisung. No matter how much I want you I'm not letting you stray from your family." His voice was a little bit of a warning, "Promise me to stay safe, even when I'm not around?"

Jisung wanted to laugh, but his body didn'tlet him, "I can only try my best." His voice was nothing but a whisper. He still felt the warmth of Minho's hand on his cheek and the other one placed loosely on the small of his back.

"Well you better try." He seemed to warn, snaking his arms around and pulling Jisung into a hug, "I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you.."

"You'd probably punch someone." Jisung joked, his own arms finding their way around the elder as well, "Knowing you."

Jisung felt Minho smile into the crook of his neck, squeeze a little more,

"Damn right I would."
