Opening the door to Hyunjins house, Minho sighed, annoyed, looking at the time. He was late by like 15 minutes.

A little while ago he had made a promise that he would stop being so late to things, but it was hard.

With everything being so heavy on his mind his time management skills had gone to shit and he was starting to be late to literally everything.

He really didn't think that being a dick could end up screwing him over so much..

He shuffled through the main entrance taking off his shoes, gloves, hat and big winter jacket. It was getting really cold outside this time of year, in fact, Christmas was only 4 days away.

The current temperature was literally -12°c (-1°F), honestly, how cold could it get? What was this? Canada?

Anyway, with the Holidays creeping up on him, he was getting nervous. Normally he would spend Christmas eve with his father, step-mother and Chris, and then go spend a day with the rest of his friends.

This year was different however, their father was going out on a business trip for three days, and it happened to extend over Christmas.

He wasn't sad though. He was actually more happy. Their father was the only thing that kept the family Christmas going, so that meant it probably wouldn't happen this year.

Their 'mother' would probably spend time with her biological family, and leave him and Chan to spend Christmas night together.

It would probably be his highlight.

As he entered the living room already full of his friend group the convention stopped for a moment, them noticing him.

"You said you would stop being late." Changbin said, not even welcoming him.

"I knoww..." Minho whined, "I just got caught up in traffic, it wasn't my fault this time." He held a faint pout on his face.

This was a lie. He had actually spent an extra 10 minutes obsessing over a certain line in Jisungs journal. It had stated, 'Maybe I love him..?'

This was a big thing for Minho. It was on the last page of the diary, he simply wanted to check what the last thing he wrote was, and that was the quotation.

He wondered if maybe Jisung did love him, and it had been written right there in the diary all along and he never knew because he hadn't read that far.

Things change though.

"What an excuse." Hyunjin said, "I should start telling you to come 20 minutes early."

Minho sighed, knowing that it was really no use, "Whatever," he paused, seeing Felix sitting on the couch eyeing him. Minho spared him a small glance, pretending not to be bothered, "Lets just get going. What are we doing today?"

He remembered when Seungmin had said that Felix might start coming over more often, he probably should have seen this coming.

He felt kind of embarrassed though. He had just acted all pouty and whiny in front of him...

"Uhmm.." Jeongin hummed, thinking, "We were probably going to make Christmas plans. We still haven't done it and the 25th is so close."

"Why don't we all just go to Channie hyungs house, like we normally do?" Seungmin asked.

. . .

The group had taken much longer than expected to make simple plans like they did every year.

They made an effort to include Felix, trying to convince him to ask Jisung to come.

Felix knew that the only real Christmas party Jisung had was with Felix, and he always spent the 25th alone, his father always working.

Felix decided that maybe Jisung would like to go and spend Christmas day with the group of boys, so he agreed to ask. He didn't expect much though, being that the boy was so shy— not to mention Minho.

It had ended up a disaster last time...

Felix saw Minho get up from the couch, excusing himself to go get a glass of water from the kitchen. Felix thought that maybe this would be a good time to catch the boy alone.

He wanted to talk to Minho one on one, that was a big reason he had even come here in the first place, other than to see his close friends again.

"Hey guys, I'm just going to use the bathroom 'kay?" He said, getting up from his seat. He didn't intend to use the bathroom.

Just as he made his way to the kitchen, a place a few rooms away from where everyone else was, he saw Minho.

He was finishing his water and pouring the rest down the sink drain, proceeding to place the glass in the dishwasher.

He hurried into the room, hoping to catch a moment of the elders time.

As Minho turned around he was somewhat surprised that Felix had shown up, stopping in his tracks for a moment. When Felix didn't say anything he smiled awkwardly, "Uh.. Hi again."

Felix nodded, "I want to talk to you.." he said in a calm tone.

"Oh?"

"Yeah.. about Jisung.."

"Oh.."

They both stood awkwardly for a moment, neither knowing what to say to one another. They really weren't considered close friends so making conversation was difficult.

"Uhmm.. I wanted to thank you." Felix said suddenly, catching the elder off guard.

Why would he thank him? After all that he had done? After he hurt the precious boy so much? After he sold him off to Jeong-Hoon? Minho deserved everything but a thank you.

He deserved to burn.

"Why..?" Minho said, not sure what else he could.

"For leaving him be. He told me a while ago that you had finally stopped bullying him." He said, "Now when I say this let me be perfectly clear.."

He looked the older boy dead in the eye, deepening his voice, "I'm not happy with you. You made Jisung's life horrible and treated him like shit, you deserve to be put in hell. All I'm saying is that I'm glad you finally left him be. He's so much more happy now Minho, trust me, and I need you to know that you did the right thing."

Minho was speechless. He was.. happy? Why? He was literally Jeong-Hoon's property— he threw the kid under the bus, how could he be happy.

"I don't.. understand." Was all Minho could say.

"Huh? What about it?" Felix tilted his head, his eyes getting slightly softer.

Minho took a long pause. Should he say it? It sounded like Jisung was hiding the fact that he was Jeong-Hoon's property. It seemed wrong to tell Felix, but it also felt wrong to keep him in the dark.

Maybe Felix would be able to help, "No. Nothing. I'm sorry about everything." He said quickly brushing past the younger to leave.

"Oh.." he heard Felix mutter.

Maybe someday he would have enough courage to tell someone else the full story..
