Just because Chan didn't want to kiss him yet didn't mean that him and Felix weren't allowed to hang out and go on.. dates? Felix didn't know what to call this.
Felix had invited Chan over to his house just to see him again, and also because his mother insisted that she got to meet whoever her son was so head over heels for.
When she found out that Chris was 5 years older than Felix she had obviously gotten worried and made him promise not to do anything stupid. She said that if they were going to continue to hang out alone she would have to meet him.
And you know what? Fair enough.
Felix understood why she was so worried, considering the age gap and that she had no idea what a sweetheart Chan was. He was positive that when his mom met him she would fall in love.
Felix's mom was very sweet, and the type of person that Felix told everything to. That had been their relationship for like, ever.
Even when Mr. Han was super busy and wasn't being a proper dad to Jisung she would declare that Jisung was coming over for sleepovers, sometimes days on end.
Jisung probably to this day has no idea that the reason she liked to have him over so much was because of his dad's work habits. Especially when he was in middle school and couldn't properly take care of himself.
Felix knew that Jisung loved his mom like kind of his second guardian.
Mrs. Lee had been asking all about what was going on with Jisung recently and always said that she'd love to have him over again.
Anyway, Jisung wasn't the one staying over today, it was Chan. Felix made sure to clean his room, the bathroom, and litteraly every other part of the house, rushing to open the door when the bell rang.
He flung it open before his mom could even leave the kitchen, wrapping his arms around the elder boy before him. He took a strong breath of Chan's sent before stepping away. "My mom is lurking around waiting for you." He whispered.
Chris smiled fluffing Felix's hair a bit as the younger let him into the house and closed the door. "I'll look forward to meeting her. It's nice to see you again, Lix."
As he took his jacket and shoes off, a woman approached not to far behind her son, looking the unfamiliar boy up and down. She seemed to be analyzing his every move.
"Ah, hi Mrs. Lee," Chan held out his hand and the woman took it quickly, "Its so nice to finally meet you."
She nodded trying to seem as friendly as possible while also immensely judging him, "Ah, I've heard so much about you. Felix really does talk a lot of you."
Chris smiled almost blushing a bit. Did Felix really talk about him..? He quickly moved on from those thoughts, "I'm Bang Chan, Felix's..." he trailed off, suddenly usure of his title.
"Basically my unofficial boyfriend." Felix nodded, "See mom, I told you he was cute."
Chan was always amazed at how little Felix seemed to be embarrassed to say those types of things. He was a very blunt and straight forward person, in the bestest way possible. "Right." He responded quickly.
Mrs. Lee smiled, feeling like Chris was a very sweet boy. Maybe Felix hadn't been lying about all of those great things after all—the way he had described the elder made him sound too good to be true.
"Well, I think you two should run along now. I don't want to keep you too long," she turned to her son and spoke quietly, "Keep the door open."
Felix blushed, "I told you mom—"
"I don't wanna hear it." He quickly said, then smiled again, "Alright, you two have fun – but not too much fun." She warned.
Chan pretended not to understand what she meant and simply followed Felix up the stairs into his room. Felix sat on the bed and Chan sat next to him, the door staying open a tiny bit.
Chan shifted in his seat a little more, "Look at us, we're acting just like Jisung and Minho. Like a real couple." He smiled played with a strand of Felix's hair.
Felix's smile dropped a bit, "Well.. I guess not anymore."
"Hm? What do you mean." He asked mindlessly.
"Well Jisung and Minho aren't a couple anymore. They broke up on Thursday—like, for good.." he didn't like to recall how Jisung had been sobbing into his shoulder. He was so heartbroken..
"What?" Chan pulled back a bit, "They broke up? Minho never told me that..." he seemed almost hurt that it had been kept from him, but hid it well.
"Well Jisungs dad found out they were still in contact and made him choose between staying at home or being with Minho... and then Minho formally broke up with him about it—Jisung's really not doing well and his father won't help." Felix shook his head, disappointed.
"I knew Mr. Han made Jisung choose, but I didn't know that they had actually broken up.." Chan leaned in, not believing it.
Felix nodded, "Thats exactly what happened. I've never seen Jisung more upset over something."
Chan's mouth fell slightly open,
"Why didn't Minho tell me.." he said quietly.
