Jisung was sure to watch every move that JinYoung made as he gave his testimony. Just by looking at him you could tell he was sweating nervously and clearly upset.

He had already confessed to everything so when he gave his speech he was only saying things that most people already knew.

He kept shifting in his seat and gazing over at Jeong-Hoon with fear in his eyes. If Jeong-Hoon wasn't under deep suspicion he would probably have killed JinYoung to shut him up or something.

Jisung also made note of how his own father was acting. Constantly sending glances towards Minho, as if debating whether he were even real or not. Jisung couldn't help but get a bubbly feeling in his stomach when he noticed this.

It meant that his father was truly taking Minho into consideration and actually giving him attention, rather than simply drawing conclusions.

"Is it true that you have witnessed Mr. Kang Jeong-Hoon, on multiple occasions, saying inherently threatening or inappropriate things to Mr. Han Jisung?" Mr. Kim stood in front of the room wearing his neatly pressed suit.

JinYoung nodded, "Yes sir.." his voice was shallow, as if he was afraid too much would come out at once.

"Is it possible for you to go into detail about one or more of these events? If it's not too much to ask." He folded his hands and the small of his back, speaking in a calm yet authoritive tone.

JinYoung gave a stuttered nod, "I, uhm, I remember one time in the hallway—sometime during last December—Jeong-Hoon cornered Jisung in the hallway during school and said.. things. He mentioned that people hated him, or that he was a burden..." he hesitated to say the next part, as if he might not be allowed to, "And he always kept his hands somewhere around Jisung's chest.."

Mr. Kim nodded.

"I also remember when Jeong-Hoon and.. me beat him up after school. Junhae and Minho were both present as well. Jeong-Hoon threw him to the ground, kicked his ribs, broke his arm with his foot, breaking his nose and pulling at his hair.." he fixed his eyes to his hands, "He said something about Jisung not deserving to stay warm, and he also said some things to imply that he thought Jisung was going to die there.."

Mr. Kim thanked him for the information and moved onto the next question, "Did Jeong-Hoon ever tell you anything in private about Mr. Han Jisung or Mr. Lee Minho?"

"Of course—" he said a little too quickly, and slowed down, "He mentioned how much he hated Minho. He called him names and talked about all of his flaws, saying that he didn't deserve all that he got, maybe as if he were jelouse. He talked about Jisung too.."

He didn't finish his sentence, as if debating whether it was a good idea, so Mr. Kim stepped in, "What did he say about Mr. Han Jisung..?"

"He always told me.. how fun he thought it would be to rape him. He always commented on how pretty his voice would be as he.. screamed, or aspects of his body that he liked. He never failed to mention that it would be to teach him a lesson though.. as if that were a good enough excuse."

"Has he ever talked about people like this before?" Kim inquired.

JinYoung nodded a little more confident, "Never to the same extent though. He would sometimes make a comment that he wanted to rape someone, or assault them, but it was like he was.. obsessed with Jisung. To the point that he probably would have done it if he had the time... and not just once.."

Mr. Han placed his hand on Jisung's, squeezing it tightly. Jisung shuddered at the thought of all the things JinYoung was saying.

It scared him even more at how believable it was.. how easy it was to imagine.

His eyes wandered over to where Jeong-Hoon was seated next to his lawyer across the room. He had a look of distaste and.. hurt on his face. Jisung knew it was fake, but for a second he found himself feeling bad for the elder.

It must be humiliating to be called out in front of people, or to have to face this type of criticism. Didn't he deserve it though...?

Jisung snapped out of it quickly. Yes. Jeong-Hoon obviously deserved this, hes not some sweet boy who happens to be a little misguided, he's a psychopath. A rapist, a murderer, a theif and an abuser.

A terrible terrible person.

No more excuses.

"Would you say that Mr. Kang was obsessed with Jisung? If so, in what way?" Mr. Kim asked, subtly placing a glance on Jisung who was staring at the desk in front of him.

JinYoung gave a nod of affirmation, "I really would. It was almost as if he loved Jisung, but had no idea how to show it.. and on top of that being jelouse that he liked Minho instead.. this is just what I think though.."

His voice was still small, like speaking too much would get him killed—which was fair enough, really.

"But he never said that he had romantic feelings or affection for Mr. Han Jisung?"

"No. I honestly thought he was incapable of loving until I heard him talk of Jisung. He's never acted like this before, especially towards me."

"So why do you think he told you, if you two didn't have that type of relationship?"

JinYoung shrugged lightly, kind of sinking into his seat, "I think maybe because it was such a huge thing it was weighing down on him to keep it to himself, and I was the only person he could really speak to.. me and him always thought maybe Junhae wasn't someone we could trust.."

Junhae wasn't here right now, as he was only really needed for the one time he gave his testimony, but if he was he might have found this funny.

Jisung moved his hand to squeeze back at his father's.

This just kept getting worse and worse.
