Though Minho had been nervous all day, he still made an effort to relax. He wondered whether he sould go back to the hospital and visit Jisung again, but decided against it.

He planned not to tell the younger about the advancements in his plans, because if he knew that Minho was putting himself at risk with his father, it was surely stress Jisung out.

He was trying to keep the younger as comfortable and oblivious as possible, and hopefully when Jisung was safe, Minho could simply avoid the topic of how he had managed it.

He knew that if this worked, Minho would probably be sent off to a boarding school with no warning and never see Jisung again, but it was worth it right?

Right..?

Whatever. It didn't matter. Whatever happens happens right? There's nothing Minho, or anyone else for that matter, could do to change the future, so what was the point in wasting his time worrying about it?

Minho had also had a drastic change in attitude towards school and quite a few people noticed it. His teachers saw him actually seeking help on topics he failed to understand, and peers saw him spending less time doing stupid shit, and more time in the library studying.

In a way, he felt like he was doing it for Jisung, to honor his almost. That sounds stupid though, it wasn't like the boy was dead. Just.. almost dead..

Anyway, Minho was taking his father's request extraordinarily serious. Speaking of his father, he hadn't heard back on anything yet.

Perhaps it was because he only talked to his father yesterday about it, or maybe something bad had happened already. He knew that the day he finally got a call from his father to go and talk to him, he would be screwed. Dead meat.

It was practically unavoidable for his father not to find out about that whole thing with Jisung and everything that had happened that Minho chose to keep a secret from his father.

When his dad found out everything would go to hell and Minho would officially be disowned. Fun. Very, very fun.

His dad was a very strict man that wasn't the type to be accepting of any flaws, especially not on his own children, and unfortunately, any sexual orientation other than straight was seen as a flaw in his eyes.

Minho had his head burried in his math textbook in the livingroom when he heard his front door open. He lifted his head to perk at who had entered, and felt a sense of relief watch over him when he saw Chan.

He had been on edge about his father all day, so much so, that he had barely got a wink of sleep last night.

"Maybe you should learn to knock." Minho said, slightly annoyed, "I'm in the middle of something."

Chan only smiled in response, "I can see that. I'm proud to see you've finally gotten a textbook out. Are you actually going to start caring about your grades?"

Minho grimaced, muttering, "Shut up." Before marking his page and setting the book down, "Are you here for a reason? Or just to make fun of me."

Chan laughed, "As much as I'd love to pick a fight with you Minho, I come bearing news."

The younger brother perked up in this, "From who?" Could is be from his father? Possibly Jisung or one of their friends?

"Jisung has asked me to scold you for him." He joked, "He says, 'don't do anything stupid, or I will throw this crayon at you'." Chris smiled warmly, "How romantic."

"What the fuck does that mean." Minho raised an eyebrow, "Why does he have crayons? And why is he threatening me with them? Seems kind of immature."

Chris sighed, "His favorite part of the day is getting a Capri-Sun and Animal Crackers after dinner, he's not the most mature." He deadpanned, "Besides the point though, he means that he doesn't want you to disadvantag or hurt yourself just to help him."

Minho made a face, "Well he could have told me that sooner." He mumbled.

"Hm? What do you mean by that.." Chan raised an eyebrow skeptically.

Minho sighed, preparing to explain his master plan to Chris. He told the elder about everything that had happened the day before, and how he was nearly convinced that in a matter of days he would be kicked out of the family and sent to a Christian boarding school in America to 'pray the gay away' or some stupid shit like that.

When he finished his short rant Chan simply stared at him for a moment, as if he were still processing, before saying, "Minho, that it's the stupidest fucking idea I've ever heard."

"What?!" Minho was shocked at this, "I spent a long while thinking about one up! Its perfect!"

"No Minho, it's not. Do you understand how stupid it is if you to put yourself on the line like that? The entire rest of your life will be ruined, your attachment to this family will be broken broken disregarded, not to mention that something like this is the exact opposite of what Jisung wanted of you."

Minho stayed quiet for a moment, thinking about it, "I guess you're right.." he whispered, "But I don't care that much about me, this is supposed to save Jisung. If I'm putting myself on the line so be it."

Chan shook his head in disapprovment, "I don't know, Minho. I don't know."
