I stared at Harry and Hermione who were still standing in the middle of the room after Dumbledore left.

"What did he mean by three turns will do?" Harry asked Hermione, but she didn't answer as she fiddled with her collar.

"Sorry Y/N and Ron, seeing as the two of you are injured." She smiled apologetically at us.

"Be careful, and good luck." I said to the two of them.

Harry looked on confused. "What are we exactly to do to save Sirius?"

"You're going to save a murderer?!" Draco sneered towards Hermione and Harry.

"Draco! Enough already!" I said gritting my teeth. He looked at me quizzically, probably wondering why I was agreeing to this operation to save Sirius Black.

"Y/N, I'll leave the rest for you to explain. But I figured we will only be gone a second." Hermione smiled at me and I understood what she was saying perfectly.

Hermione wrapped the long chains of the necklace around Harry's neck, turning the hourglass three times. At first, their silhouettes blurred, and then they were gone.

"Where did they go?!" Draco exclaimed, looking around.

"They didn't go anywhere." I smiled meaningfully, just as the doors of the hospital wing swung open, revealing a breathless and more ragged looking Harry and Hermione.

"You were just there!" Ron exclaimed as he pointed to the spot where Harry and Hermione had been a second ago. "And now you're there!"

"What are you talking about, Ron?" Hermione asked innocently.

"Y/N and Malfoy saw it, didn't you?!" Ron asked.

"I saw it." Draco had his mouth slightly opened as he stared back and forth at Harry and Hermione.

"Y/N?" Hermione asked me as she grinned.

"I haven't got the faintest idea what these two are talking about." I chuckled.

"But you were there, Potter and Granger! And suddenly you were walking through the doors!" Draco exclaimed.

"Honestly, how can someone be at two places at once?" Harry laughed, much to Draco's annoyance.

After a while, Professor Dumbledore walks in again, this time accompanied by Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge and Professor Snape.

Snape immediately grabbed Harry's collar. "It was you, wasn't it? You helped Black escape!"

"Now, now, Severus. Let's not be hasty in accusing the boy." Dumbledore said as he patted Snape's hand that was curled around Harry's collar, making Snape let go quite hesitantly.

"Have they been gone?!" Snape bellowed to Ron, Draco, and me. Ron shook his head and I did the same.

"They haven't gone anywhere, Professor." I said.

"You're lying." Snape sneered at me then turned to Draco. "Malfoy. Tell me, did Potter leave this room even for just a second?"

I can see Draco have a mental battle if he should actually say what he saw. I pleaded with my eyes as Draco gave me a fleeting look.

"No, Professor. As much as I want Potter to get in trouble for anything at all, they didn't leave this room." Draco looked back to stare me. "Not even for a second."

Snape's face contorted into that of unquestionable wrath as he stormed off with heavy footsteps.

"Sirius escaped?" Harry asked Fudge.

The Minister looked like he's been through hell and back at how disheveled he looked. His eyes were sunken and there was a bit of panic in them.

"Ah...yes, Harry. Pitifully so." Fudge was fumbling with his hat. "He's evaded the Dementors once again and we have searched high and low, but none of the Dementors can sense his presence here anymore. Figured he'd gone off somewhere totally unreachable."

I felt my shoulders relax.

"What about the Hippogriff, Minister? Has the execution been successful?" Hermione asked. She seemed cool and collected as she did and I had wondered why when suddenly it dawned on me.

"Heavens, no. That was a disaster either. Flew away to Merlin knows where." Fudge exclaimed.

"It wasn't Hagrid who let him escape, was it?" Harry asked.

"No, we were with Hagrid having a cup of tea. It's impossible for him to release the Hippogriff since we saw it just before we stepped foot in his hut." Fudge exclaimed.

"Anyway, I guess that is the end of my business here in Hogwarts. I would have a lot of paperwork to do in reporting to the Committee and the Wizengamot about today's unfortunate happenings." Fudge sighed.

Fudge then turned to Draco. "I hope your Father doesn't take it too much to heart that we were not able to execute the Hippogriff that had almost fatally harmed you."

Draco turned to Fudge. "My Father has greatly misunderstood the situation, Minister. I only got a scratch from the Hippogriff. I'm quite glad that the innocent creature has been spared."

Fudge smiled tentatively. "If that's the case then I'm glad. Lucius Malfoy's wrath is not something we need right now."

Just before Fudge left, Dumbledore had called out to him. "I trust that means that the Dementors would be removed from Hogwarts, Minister?"

"Oh yes. Of course." Fudge said and then went on his way, Dumbledore following closely behind him, but before he left he had give all of us a wink.

"You saved Sirius and Buckbeak?" Ron asked after the two had left. Harry and Hermione gleefully nodded.

"Thank Merlin." I sighed in relief.

"I still don't understand." Draco whispered to me as he glared at Harry and Hermione.

"I'll tell you all about it." I said to him. "Thanks for not telling Snape."

"Only because you were pleading me with your eyes." Draco smirked.

"And about Buckbeak too." I continued.

"Well, I was only telling the truth about the chicken." Draco said.

I could only laugh.

I turned to looked over at Harry and Hermione who were also laughing as Ron badgered them about their disappearance and reappearance.
