Reema- Anokhi. Toh tu yahan hai. Kya hua tera mooh utara sa kyu hai? Awww Mimi ko miss kar rhi hai? Arre thodi der mein hi toh niklenge. Awww. Maa ko bache ki shayd zyada aati hai. I am sure Mimi khel rhi hogi abhi. Anokhi! Chal wapas chalte hai. Next wala gana start hone hi wala hai. Chal naa. Anokhi! Kya baat hai. Anokhi!
Anokhi hugs Reema and starts to sob.
Reema- Anokhi. Kya hua? Bata toh. Mimi theekh hai? Kya hua fir? Anokhi! Shaurya sir se jhagda? Kya hua. Anokhi aise roti rahegi toh kaise pata chalega.
Bebo and Kitty walk from behind and can see blood behind her kurta.
Bebo- Anokhi arre koi baat nhi hai. Mujhse jacket le lo aur dhak lo. It's ok if you are on periods.
Reema- Firse periods? Last week hi toh hua tha. Anokhi tu theekh hai? Kya baat hai....
Anokhi- Woh! Woh! Woh mein. Reema.
Reema- Woh mein. Kya kar rhi hai. Bol. Ab mujhe darr lag rha hai. Chal pehle hum bahar Cafe mein baithke aaram se baat karte hai.
Anokhi- Nhi. Ghar..... Ghar jana hai. Mimi ke paas....
Reema- Anokhi kya hua hai bol naa? Aur yeh tera kurta faat gya hai.
She starts to sob even more..... Reema makes Anokhi sit on a bench lieing in the corridor.
Reema- Achaa ruk mein first aid leke theekh kar dungi.
Anokhi- Aur isko bhi Reema.... And she slowly separates her legs.
Reema- Anokhi! Kya! Tere sath. Kuch... Anokhi! Anokhi chal hospital chalte hai. Chal abhi tu mere sath.
Bebo- Hum bhi chalte hai.
Reema- Anokhi.... Mein hoon naa tu kuch mat soch. Tujhe dard ho rha hoga naa. Tu kuch mat soch. Mein hoon naa. Mimi ki maasi aur teri behen.... Tu kuch mat soch. Mein hoon tere liye. Anokhi tu chal payegi. Haan.
They walk towards the main gate.
Reema- Auto! Auto! Arre ruko naa koi.
Kitty- Arre Reema Auto kya dhund rhi ho. Mein driver ko kehti hoon gadi lane.
The car comes and they drive her to the hospital where the doctor takes her in to do medical.
Reema, Bebo and Kitty wait completely petrified. They were receiving calls repeatedly from Shaurya. Ultimately they picked up.
Shaurya- Arre tum log gadi leke kahan gye ho? Arre maine bola tha sath mein ghar jayenge. Abhi ke abhi aao wapas. Bas. Batake jaate toh rokta tumhe? Wapas aao.
Bebo- Hum nhi aa sakte bhaiya.
Shaurya- Matlab kya hai. Bada hoon tumse. Suno meri baat aur gadi wapas lao.
Kitty- Gadi bhej denge but hum nhi aa payenge. Emergency ho gyi hai humare friend ke sath.
Shqurya- Achaa. Toh pehle bolna chahiye tha naa. Ab sab theekh?
Kitty- Nhi pata abhi tak bhaiya.
Shaurya's voice that was repimanding them now softens.
Shaurya- Kitty. Mein aa jaoon. Koi problem hai? Mein solve karne mein help karoon. Hum milkar solution dhundhege ok. Agar tumhari friend comfortable ho.
Kitty- Nhi bhaiya. Hume nhi pata.
Shaurya- Achaa. Koi baat nhi. Tum log uska bhi dhyaan rakho aur apna bhi ok. Gadi rakh lena jab tak chahiye hoga. In fact ek kaam karta hoon address bolo mein tumhare night wear kapde bhej deta hoon.
Bebo- Bhaiya rehne dijiye. Hume kuch chahiye hoga toh maang lenge. But bhaiya aapki bohot kami lag rhi hai. Aapko humesha pata hota kya karna chahiye. Hume kuch samjh nhi aa rha. Par humari dost se bina puche aapko kaise keh de sab?
Shaurya- I understand. Sab theekh ho jayega. Tum dono bas khayal rakhna dil se uska. Sab theekh ho jayega. Theekh hai? Aur koi bhi madat chahiye raat ko toh call kar lena ok?
Bebo- Ok bhaiya.
Shaurya- Come on cheer up my behnas. Apni dost ka roti shakal ke sath dhyaan rakhogi. Come on! My angels. No crying. Ok.
Kitty- Bhaiya!
Shaurya- Maine bola naa sab theekh hoga. Sab ok. Take care. Ab jao apni dost ke paas.
Bebo- Ji bhaiya.
They hang up the phone.
Bebo- Hume toh kuch nhi pata Reema. Hum....
Reema- Kya kar sakte hai. Bebo. Anokhi ka bas sath hi de sakte hai.
There is a long procedure which takes place and they see some police personnel entering her room. They have no idea of what could be happening inside. Would Anokhi be ok? Did she agree for evidence to be collected and file a complaint? Did she not? Who had done this to the friend? In a place where they used to hang out. This concert was supposed to be one of those quintessential college experiences to mark their first year in college. Instead this had turned out a nightmare. Little did they expect this. Bebo and Kitty had always grown up around Siac. As kids they would linger outside their fathers cabin before breaks or when Shaurya had joined they would come to meet Shaurya. This place had been a kind of second home. Their second home being unsafe was terrifying. All of a sudden they felt like they hadn't known Siac at all. Their minds went back to college where a concert was continuing. All the students were dancing, making merry as one of their batch mates was in the hospital receiving treatment for being raped. All of this realization was too much. They just wanted to cuddle into their brother, who was more like a best friend whom they didn't vibe with but who always knew how to comfort them or make them smile. This was so scary for them. They could not even imagine how terrifying it would be for Anokhi who had no family here. They wished they could just get bhaiya here! They hoped and they prayed that bhaiya would find out and make life smile at them but more importantly at Anokhi as well.
My worst update till date. I know guys! Sorry. But the deity of writing has abandoned me. I am sorry everyone. I really believed in this idea and realistic approach so I chose to pen it even if I no longer remember how to write. Sorry again.
