So this is on the first anniversary of Shaurya and Anokhi after entire family has accepted them. Anokhi has arranged for a surprise for Shaurya in Shaan's flat.
White and red rose petals fall on him as he enters. He sees a dark room lit only by fairy lights. He can see beautiful fairy lights lighting the ceiling as well. He tries to think how Anokhi must have managed this. Then he hears a party popper go off.
Happy birthday to you in most beautiful voice enters his ears and that moment is pure bliss. Now his eyes seek only her. Every shadow feels like her. Every movement seems to be her. It was only a moment but it seemed so long before she appeared. She looked elegant and breathtakingly beautiful in a powder blue dress. She had something in her hand. It seemed like a box.
