After ten minutes she coughed a bit.

He somehow holds her up with one hand and the glass was in another. It was hard because Anokhi was coughing up. Devi took Anokhi from Shaurya's hand and Anokhi snuggled into Devi and murmured mumma weakly. Devi got emotional.

Anokhi is calmed down with her voice and hugs her more tightly.

Shaurya-Maa dawai toh li hi nhi. Ab bukhar?
Devi-Usko juice mein mila ke dete hai. Shayd yeh swallow nhi kar paa rhi.
So they give to her in some juice. She takes and goes back to sleep in a fraction of a second.
Shaurya-Maa isko hospital le jana hoga lag rha hai.
Devi-Ek ghanta dekh lete hai. Isko iss haal mein le bhi kaise jaayen. Bahar aaj kitni garmi hai. Aur yeh bukhar!
But after an hour luckily she is better. The fever had started to subside. Shaurya hugs Devi.
Shaurya-Maa! Thank god. Aapko pata hai mein usse bohot pyaar karta hoon. Bohot. Nhi reh sakta uske bina. Mujhse nhi hota. Marr jaunga.
Devi-Tune mujhe maa bulaya.
Shaurya-Maa? Maa kahan. Shayd isliye kyunki aap mujhe samjhe aaj. Mein toh itna Darr gya tha ki kuch samjh nhi aa rha tha. Aisa kabhi nhi dekha usse. Anokhi ke bina kuch nhi hai maa. Mein nhi hoon. Woh takleef mein hoti hai toh bohot zyada takleef hoti hai. Yahan achaa nhi lagta (pointing at his heart).
Devi-Kyunki yahan rehti hai Anokhi. Tu usse pyaar karta hai. Aur pyaar mein choti moti cheeze hoti hai. Pagle!
Shaurya-Maa!
He hugs her again.
Devi-Arre ab bas. Apne iss dil ko thoda balance kar. Warna isme Jo rehti hai uska khayal kaise rakhega.
Aur ab tu bhi thoda rest kar le. Ab theekh ho jao tum dono jaldi. Breakfast banana hai tum dono ko milke kalka...
Shaurya and Devi laugh..
Anokhi-Breakfast. Haan. Khaungi. Mein. Mujhe chahiye. Anda fry. Haan order kar Reema. Anda fry aur toast. Aur aloo Paratha. Pindi chole mat bhulna. Reema woh bhi kar dena mere liye chaas. Haan. Jalebi bol diya naa. Haan. Theekh hai.... Kar dena.
She was sleep talking.... Devi makes a mental note.

Shaurya-Arre bol bhi do madam. Lunch ka time hai breakfast ka time thodi.
Anokhi-Shaurya! Tum yahan. PS. Aap jao naa. Khao apna woh thai, japanese aur kya, kya tha. (Personally love all that but FF ke khatir likhna padta hai. 🥺😔) Mein lunch mein khaoongi. Mmmm. Paneer khaungi mein. Yummmmm. Panner, roti.

Anokhi-Reema Tera gala kharab hai. Teri awaz badi maa jaisi hai. Khair bata dena mera khana.

Devi and Shaurya laugh.
