Sierra and Taehyung were the first ones to arrive. They didn't wanna take any chances. The school knew that Taehyung was Sooyoung's fiance and not Sierra's forever after. And if they saw both of them together, it would be a disaster.
Taehyung held her hand, kissing the top of her head for the hundredth time. This was his way of telling her, that he actually loves her and he will stay forever.
Sierra looked as if she was out of a runaway. She felt odd. It was a funeral after all. She wore lace gloves and a hat with a small black veil made out of a rather rough net. She had made the fitted a-line dress from a crew neck knit and the skirt was nothing but fabric from a retail shop. The gloves were made from a lace tablecloth dyed black and the hat was just a thrift which she added a roughly cut veil on. Her stilettos had a big, noir, satin bow at the ankle.
Taehyung, wore a black suit. He brought a bouquet of Chrysanthemum. He looked quite handsome as well. As if the couple hadn't came to a funeral in an alley church, but the Milan fashion week.
Jisoo stood there. Wearing a black dress. The lace covering her shoulders and hands till her wrists complemented her. The long skirt had layers, just like her heart these days. Black heels. She was looking perfect. A rich heiress. Just as she was before.
Namjoon stood there, hugging her tight. Glancing here and there. Whispering things to her. Taehyung and Sierra guessed, maybe he was consoling her. Maybe Jisoo needed him that close now to feel at ease.
No wonder she was in great state of grief. Jisoo was standing completely zoned out and still. Highly unlikely of Jisoo. Namjoon kept glancing at Jisoo. He has to lie for her sake. He will carry out this lie forever for her sake. No one will ever know about it. No one would ever see his past. Jisoo doesn't deserve it. She deserves to be happy. Isn't it obvious that Kim Namjoon would do anything for Kim Jisoo's sake? Even if it is a hideous crime like tampering the truth and murder?Namjoon huffed. His left eye was twitching since the morning. He wasn't superstitious but this was getting out of hand. The twitching was extremely uncomfortable.
His phone rang, clearing his mood. Jisoo-ssi, you were his happy pill. He smiled,
"Yeoboseoyo..."
"I killed my mother Namjoon-ah. I'm a murderer. I'm a monster. Namjoon-ah, I killed my mother. With my own hands. The hands that you hold. I killed my mother. I didn't mean to. I didn't want to. I don't even know how, when and why I did it. I just remember her beating me and then bam! I was in the corner woth blood over me... Like a monster, Namjoon-ah. I'm a little monster."Jisoo glanced at the man beside her. Her safe place. Her comfort zone. When her hands were soaked in blood. She could only thing of one thing that would hide her away from the whole world. Kim Namjoon.
"Darling, are YOU safe? Are the wounds too bad?"
"Namjoon, I just killed my mother!"
"You didn't kill a mother. You killed a monster. Now, tell me darling, are the wounds too bad?"
Jisoo swore she could hear her own heartbeat. The room was dead silent. Pun intended. Her unnie was too shocked to even shed a tear. She was just pressing her mouth with both her palms. Looking at Jisoo, unbelief in her eyes. Their Sooya just killed their mother. Jisoo's register low and airy,
"I'm fine. The wounds aren't serious."
"Now, I'll be there in a moment. Till then, make sure to sit tight and make sure that no one can even see the smallest glimpse. Okay?""Thanks Namjoon-ah."
Jisoo whispered, softly enough, so that the word stays between just the two of them. Namjoon softly matched his plump lips on her forehead,
"I won't ever let you cry again, Kim Jisoo-ssi."
Kim Ji-Yoon, Jisoo's sister, stood there, watching the young couple with mixed emotions inside her heart. Wearing a long, fitted, black full gown. Showing no skin and emotions. She just looked hollow. She felt disgusted yet was at awe for the young couple. How her little sister killed their mother but also had found herself someone who loved her enough to take such a risk only to save her."Soo, it's okay. I'm here now. Don't cry anymore, okay? I'm here."
Jisoo sobbed, burying her face into his well built chest,
"Joon-ie, I-I-I ki-killed... My-my ow-o-own mo-mo-mother..."
"No one apart from me and Ji-Yoon Noona know it."
He couldn't take it anymore. His heart was cracking. His chest tightening. She was buried in his chest, sniffling occasionally. He hugged her tight,
"No one else would know it. We'll cover up the traces. We'll pose it into an accident. Not a murder. Yoir mother was drunk, and slipped and there were glass bottles... There maybe was some mishap that we are unaware. She already had real high blood pressure. She fell down really hard. Both Jiyoon Noona and Jisoo, were busy and when they came home, they found that she was already dead. We would just hold a funeral. No police case, nothing. We don't wanna keep hurting her soul."
"NO! THAT'S NEVER GONNA WORK!"
"Noona, the chance is really slim for every other excuse as well. Jisoo would be taken to court if we don't hold a funeral ASAP without the police knowing."
"BUT SHE KILLED EOMMA! SHE DESERVES..."
"She deserves to be happy and loved. She deserves all the best things. And I will make sure of that."Indeed, Namjoon would make sure of that. His life depended on Jisoo, as if. She was the reason for his heartbeats. He pulled her closer. As if to keep her sane.
Lisa looked lifeless, in Jungkook's arms. Her square neck line and bodyfitted dress. Minimal jewellery and absolutely no makeup. Jungkook held her closer. She was on the verge of insanity. Their relationship was too young. But, yet she only confided in Jungkook.
