Sierra felt as if someone was strangling her. She mentally jotted all the symptoms down. Next time that she goes to the psychiatrist, she'll need to tell her. But right now? Right now she couldn't ask for help. This was not about her. Jisoo had gone missing. She could be in the worst of situations. Her heart wrenched as her stomach did a flip. She didn't even want to think of that particular thing.
Taehyung had an arm around his Yoongi Hyung, who apparently was bawling his eyes out. Seeing Min Yoongi cry is a rare sight. Jungkook was leaning on the doorframe. He and Lisa had just drove all around the city. Jisoo was nowhere. All of them were getting closer to their fears. Jennie was trying her best to use her connections all around. That's the best she could do from her place. Yoongi sobbed,
"Trust me, I didn't... I never thought... I'm sorry. I should've just stayed back."
"Hyung, it's not your fault."
Taehyung kept patting his back. To be honest, his worst fear was eating him up. But guilt was stronger than any fear. He had informed his parents, who informed all the higher sources. Basically half of Seoul were looking for Kim Jisoo.
Lisa brewed some coffee. As if kissed by a dementor, her face was growing lifeless. Sierra quietly tiptoed to the kitchen, sitting down on the counter. Only noise in the room could be the simmering of water. Lisa didn't say a word, neither did Sierra. What could they even talk about? Life? This wasn't the life they talked of. Everything inside them felt hollow. Rosé, Jimin, Namjoon, and now Jisoo? How many do they have to lose? Would the next bullet be for them? Which one of them? Will they ever be normal ever again? Lisa poured the coffee into 4 cups, pushing one towards Sierra. Murmuring,
"Here."
"Lali..."
Lisa pretended not to hear her. She walked away with a tray. To be honest, she no longer trusted anyone here. Jisoo's disappearance was Yoongi and Jennie's fault. Jisoo was the reason Namjoon is in jail. Sierra was responsible for Jimin's death and Jimin was for Rosé's. She trust no one here.
Sierra jumped back to her feet. Raising her strained voice a bit. She was too sleep deprived, stressed and had a bit too much on her plate. Even the slightest things bothered her. Agitated, Sierra yelled,
"LALISA MANOBAN, CAN WE FUCKING TALK?"
Lisa snapped back. To be honest, she wasn't in a better position either. Besides, she only was her normal, bubbly self around Yun-o and others. But the.moment she comes face to face with her old friends, something dark takes over her. She rolled her eyes,
"Yah, don't fucking yell."
"THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER ME FIRST?"
"IS IT NOT OBVIOUS YET? I DIDN'T WANT TO. I DON'T WANT TO ASSOCIATE MYSELF WITH YOU GUYS ANYMORE. ROSIE, JIMIN OPPA, NAMJOON OPPA AND NOW JISOO-NNIE. I DON'T WANNA BE THE NEXT TARGET. I HAVE REASONS TO LIVE HAPPIER THAN I AM NOW."
"IT WAS US AGAINST THE WORLD, ALWAYS PRANPRIYA MANOBAN. IT WAS NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND. AND WHAT DO YOU THINK? ALL THIS WILL MAGICALLY STOP IF YOU CUT TIES WITH US?"
"YES IT WILL! YOU GUYS ARE INFLUENCING THIS! YOU INFLUENCED JIMIN OPPA'S DEATH! DENY IT IF YOU CAN, BUT CAN YOU DENY YOUR GUILT?"
"I-I... I didn't... Lisa..."
Sierra's face softened. The rage melting off. Tears formed in her eyes as the wounds in her started to bleed again. Her shoulders lowered. She practically was falling apart, in front of Lisa's doll eyes. But Lisa couldn't care less. She scoffed,
"Yeah yeah. Even you know your fault. Look at you squirming with guilt. You killed Jimin Oppa. If not for you, Jimin Oppa would be alive. Just cause you..."
"SHUT IT! I beg of you, shut it! I did nothing! I meant nothing! Please... Please stop. I didn't mean a single thing. I... I... I did-n't it would... I never thought it would. I was just shocked. I was scared. It-it... It was ju-just ba-bae-basic instin-ct. I didn't mean it. I swear I didn't mean it."
Sierra was on her knees. Face smudged between her palms. She was shivering. Lisa saw, with pleasure in her eyes.
By this time the two men were there. Taehyung had gone out for a while. Jungkook felt his jaw tighten. He nudged Lisa away from the doorframe, sprinting towards Sierra. Yoongi slipped in between, wrapping an arm around Sierra. Jungkook's voice was hoarse,
"Lalisa Manoban, what did you say to Sierra?"
Lisa burned under his gaze. Not because he was furious, but because she was guilty. Guilty of cheating on him. She knew it was reasonable only to tell him and part ways, but the time wasn't just in there favour. She worries, she might be the push Jungkook may need. Just like Jimin was the push Rosé needed. Everytime she wanted to tell him, something came up.
She looked away, arms crossed against her chest. Jungkook's gaze fanned her almost. She couldn't look at him, even for a second. He sighed,
"Priya... Let's go. I'll drop you home. You... You are not in your sane-est mind. Let's go."

"Jungkook..."
Jungkook looked at Lisa, playing with her own fingers. Her eyes stuck on her own lap. Her voice low and almost buzzing.
Jungkook parked his car, by her house. His hands still on the steering wheel, he smiled,
"Maybe the time just wasn't in our favour. Don't stress, Lalisa. Maybe all you did was just fated. It's alright, maybe this is what the universe has written for us."
Lisa's eyes shifted on him. Shock plastered over her face. She was meaning to tell him about Jeong Yun-o, but before she could even tell, his response felt as if he knew. Words got jumbled in her mouth,
"Jun-Jungkook... I-I... How did you... I didn't mean it... Jungkook I'm sorry."
She bit her bottom lip, hiding her face in her palms. Jungkook's lips perked up in a sympathetic smile. He ran his fingers through her soft hair, his voice soft and calm and warm,
"Priya, you don't need to be sorry to me. Sierra deserves that sorry. But it's alright, you mustered up your courage to say sorry to her twin. I'm sure you'll tell her too. Now Priya, do you wnat me to go inside and the check the house?"
Lisa sniffed, her nose was strawberry red by now,
"What?"
"Lalisa Manoban, you live alone. Anyone could have snuck inside your..."
"That's not what I was asking about. I asked, did you say all that about Sierra and my situation?"
Jungkook smiled softly, nodding,
"Yeah. Why?"
The silence was too loud. Lisa forgot to breathe almost. And all the words she wanted to say, disappeared into thin air. His doe eyes, assuring smile, comforting aura. She felt guilt ride up her throat. She gulped,
"Nothing. I'll just go inside now. Take care, Jungkook."
Jungkook smiled,
"You too, Priya."
Lisa walked out, feeling worthless. As if she was the worst person alive. A sinner. The devil. And Jungkook just saw her silhouette. Walk away. Till it blurred into nothing. He sighed, a tear waltzed out of his eyes,
"Lalisa, I know what you wanted to say. I answered without hearing. I know you a lot, don't I? Wish you knew me half as good. Wish you knew that I can't hear it right now. Just a bit more. Let me prepare my heart for a bit more. A bit more before it shatters."
