Yoongi's phone switched from the maps to another call. He turned towards Taehyung, mouthing,
"Sorry."
Taehyung nodded his head, pulling his lips to a smile,
"It's alright. Take it, perhaps it's something important."
Yoongi nodded back, picking up the call. His father wasn't much of a "call" person. He was more "call-home-and-drink-over-the-issue" kinda person. So if his father called, it was most likely, he fucked up.
"Yeoboseoyo, Abeoji."
"Yah, Yoongi-ya. Where did you get yourself stuck, huh? The police called, they found your involvement with a criminal. Where are you now?"
"Driving to the police station. To bail out Namjoon."
And it was an eery silence. Taehyung swore, it was too dense to even breathe. The father-son duo were too quiet. Even if for a second. Yoongi's father sighed, hints of satoori in hia tongue followed the words that came out,
"Yah, you can't save him now. I tried bailing him the moment the police called me. But there's no way this time. Namjoon doesn't want to be bailed. Come back Yoongi-ya. We need to talk. You even got the Kims' daughter into trouble."
Yoongi's eyes widened. The car halted with a harsh screech. He quickly took the phone out of the stand and brought it closer to his ears. As if that would change the last sentence. He growled,
"What did you just say?"
"Your friend Namjoon got arrested for murder, right? The police found your location there, and Namjoon used Jennie's phone to call. You both are getting suspected, Yoongi-ya. We need to figure out this mess."

"Min Yoongi. I'm not the factor here. You don't need to come back to check on me. Check on Namjoon Oppa. He awaits you guys. He needs you guys. Don't waste time on me. I'll be there even if you are an eternity late. Just go, Min."
Jennie again reassured Yoongi. Even if she knew what awaits her and the consequences, it still was Kim Namjoon who mattered. She sighed, clutching her heart. Why can't it calm down? Why is it beating so loudly. She's scared, the world would hear her fears.
She found herself in front of his studio. Genius Lab. She smiled, slowly twisting the doorknob. The studio was every musician's dream. It was cozy, comfortable and had a vibe that felt like home to Jennie. As if it was Yoongi, but in a form of a place. She had a fascination towards music always. Yoongi always supported her. Pushed her to compose. Teach her how to.
She settled in the confy, black chair in front of the monitors. Her hands working on their own. An unfamiliar melody running. She hummed with it, trying to find words. The melody was romantic. As if a bit of moonlight drizzled over white roses. Roses she'll give Yoongi. She mumbled,
"I love you and me... Dancing in the... Moonlight..."
Her eyes widened with joy. Her gums flashing out as she played the melody and hummed along,
"I love you and me
Dancing in the moonlight."
And slowly, following her instincts she had a song of her own. She smiled, leaning back. Pride in her eyes. Pride in form of warm tears. She saved the file, carefully enough. She named it, "To Min Yoongi."
Her heart clenched. Reality sinking back again. What happens if they end up drifting apart? Things are gonna get ruthless for her, starting now. Her mother would be harsh. Even harsher than before. Her father still wouldn't be there. She shook her head. They won't drift apart. She would claw through Yoongi's heart, and cling to it. She would not let him go. She would not let go of his hand. It's either two, or none. She smiled, knowing her lover very well. Knowing how he misses her presence. Knowing how she is his eternal muse. She leaned in, towards the microphone. Inside her words bubbled. Words, are magical. They convey what the heart feels.

The world felt ruthless. As if it wanted him dead. It felt hard to breathe. He just wanted to hide. Hide from the miseries.
And there she was, with tears in her own eyes. Looking as pale as ever. She threw her arms around him, nuzzling her face at the crook of his neck. His arms found their way, to hug her back tighter. He closed his eyes shut, he whispered,
"Juliette, the world is a really really really dark place."
She took in his scent. Her heart was breaking. Breaking into thousands. She couldn't breathe properly. She felt as if this world around her wasn't real. As if it was all a nightmare.
He felt his head get heavier as his feet became wobblier each second. He remembers giving up all his body weight, on her shoulders. He remembers whispering,
"Never leave me, my Juliette."
It took Sierra a bit to get Taehyung on the bed. How pale he looked. How drained he was. She kissed the top of his forehead,
"Not till I have a choice, my Romeo."
She tucked him in bed, tiptoeing to her rooftop. Her eyes met the skyline of her small neighbourhood. She couldn't help but sigh. Hugging her knees close to her chest. The pleasantly warm breeze brushing past her. Tickling her. Her heart felt heavy. She tried counting all those she lost. But she couldn't remember all. There were too many to count. She lost her parents, Lisa lost her parents, Jisoo lost her parents, she lost her Jimin Oppa, her Namjoon Oppa and their Rosie. Another hit, she may break down. Another hit, she would tear the Earth apart, if it is anyone but her. She can't see another loved one take the hit. She wanted to scream and scratch her skin. She wanted to howl and tell the world to stop. But things were never as easy as that. And that's what growing up is. Knowing that nothing is easy in this world, but still holding out.
