Sierra felt as if her head was made from lead. Her eyes fluttered open, stinging from the sudden exposure of light. She tried mumbling,
"Where am I?"
Jungkook gave her a bottle of water, still holding on to her. Gently. As gentle as one holds a baby. Tear marks on his cheeks, voice cracked,
"You fainted back in the mortuary. Just as they showed us..."
She sat upright, or she just tried to. Her voice hoarse and cracked. She breathily finished his words,
"Jisoo-nnie's body!"
She scratched Jungkook's hand, pleading to him with tears in her eyes,
"Tell me Gguk. Tell me it was a nightmare?"
Jungkook didn't had it in him to tell Sierra. Jungkook wasn't that close to Jisoo because of the lack of common grounds. Jungkook never got the chance to bond with Jisoo. But Sierra, Jennie and Taehyung were different cases. Jisoo was the remaining piece of Jimin for Taehyung. For Jennie, Jisoo was an older sister she never had. And Sierra... When Sierra ran away from home and found these girls, Rosé and Lisa were her sisters who never left her side. Jennie was the father, cold at first glance but then shifts to a very goofy demeanour and who spoils her with everything. But Jisoo. Jisoo was the mother. A bit stern, a bit mature. Caring, checking if she had her meals or not, warning her when it shall rain or when it shall snow.
Jungkook took a hold of Sierra's hands, tears on the verge of falling. Even if Jungkook wasn't that close to Jisoo, he still saw her as a Noona he idolised. Jungkook wanted to get closer to her. But by the time, Jungkook got in the scene, Jisoo had changed. Things had been entangled. Sierra shook off Jungkook's hand, hiding her face in her palms,
"No... Not again. Please stop this. Please... Please, for this once. Please!"
He threw his arms around her shoulders. She howled, her insides felt hollow. She felt cold and lightheaded. Her mind felt fuzzy. She only whispered through her sobs,
"Take me back. Please take me back."

Taehyung felt hollow. He couldn't hear a single thing. His face felt warmer. Something kept on buzzing inside his head. Jennie was the same as him. Yoongi was talking with the officers. Apparently, the police would like to investigate a bit before they can go on with the burial rites. Jennie mumbled, tears pricking her eyes,
"Taehyung Oppa, when will it stop? When will it stop hurting?"
Taehyung wanted to answer but his mouth felt too numb. His vocal cords felt rusty and dried out. Jennie didn't say another word, she laid her head on Taehyung's shoulder.
Sierra looked pale, as if she'll snap into two any moment. As if a natural reaction Taehyung ran to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, sobbing,
"I'm the one to be blamed. Jisoo-nnie was absolutely right. If I didn't spot the arcade, nothing would happen. I should be the one dead not..."
"Shh! Don't you dare say that, Sierra. No one is to be blamed here. We all went inside, it was our fault as much as it was yours."
Jennie tried patting her back, side hugging her. But deep inside, she needed that. She needed someone to do that to her. She needed someone to tell her those words.

Seok-Jin didn't know what to do but feel helpless. From the moment he entered the morgue, he felt as if breathing was a luxury. His tiny little devil, his adorable little sister. Kim Jisoo. How cold it was, her body was near to going blue. She was cold, he knew it. But this time he couldn't give her his coat.
He pressed his forehead, sobbing. Why did this have to be their last meets? Why did they not let him meet Jisoo before? Why did she have to do this? Because of this "who's the murderer" fiasco? But Seok-Jin lied to get her out of situation? Did no one tell her that her Oppa saved her, like old times?
He stepped out, the others eyed him. With disgust painted in their eyes. If not for his aliby, Jisoo would still be alive. Taehyung's gaze morphed into something sharper. Yoongi's was simply darker. And Jennie... She was both. Jungkook and Sierra felt enraged and disgusted and melancholy, but the twins had to keep it levelheaded. The older three didn't hesitate when it came to fights.
Seok-Jin cleared his throat. Walking towards Sierra. It had caught his eyes, how pale and life driven Sierra looked. She had a shift in an hour. How would she perform it? She would collapse. And he can't see even a splinter on anyone of his dongsaengs. He already lost too much. But as Seok-Jin approached them, rage blinded their senses.
Taehyung started it, mocking Seok-Jin,
"What are you here for CEO-nim?"
Jennie bitterly chuckled, gritting her teeth,
"Don't you have any fake alibis to give?"
Yoongi's jaw tightened. His eyes looked darker than of a grim reaper's,
"No, Kim Jisoo is dead. He has already done his part."
Kim Seok-Jin gritted his teeth, grasping Yoongi by his collars,
"You think I would do anything to harm my little cousin? Kim Jisoo was my sister before she was your friend. I would never hurt her."
Yoongi chuckled bitterly. And without even a second passing, he pushed Jin away. Jin cracked his neck, throwing a punch. No one knew what took over them, but must have been Lucifer himself. Two sleepdeprived, guilt-driven and emotional men didn't know to stop until they were pulked apart. Jungkook had a grip on a visibly bruised Yoongi. Sierra was standing in front of her boss, her Jin Oppa. He even looked good with all those bruises. Her voice had cracked from all tge crying and now it was hurting even when she tried to gulp. She stuttered,
"You have all the rights to be here. But none of us are in the mood to talk right now."
Seok-Jin nodded. His heart wrenching, he had lost another sister. He could see it in Sierra's eyes. He cleared his throat,
"Sure, Si. But, promise me, you guys will hear me out with a cool head? And, I came here to tell you that, you can take the day off today."
Sierra took a step back, taking a deep breath. Her eyes closed. She fished out her best secretary posture and most delightful tone. She smiled,
"Charming offer indeed, Sajangnim. But I'd prefer to resign."
