70: I didn't know it would be insanely saddening like this

"Hyeya mianhadan mareun marya
Eonjenga aju meon geu ttae
Majimage majimage haji aneullae
Geuraeya jigeum i apeun shigando
Hunnal joeun chueogira
Useumyeo malhago isseul uri il tenilkka mariya"
Jungkook's voice was heavenly. Sierra swore, his voice made her calm down as well as warm her heart. At the same time. His eyes closed, how gently his fingers wrapped around the mic.
He smiled at Sierra, assuring her she could sing. Besides, there was no one other than the two of them in this karoake room. Sierra took a deep breath before starting the verse,
"Hyeya neoneun malhaesseotji
Geujeo joeun chinguye gaseumeuro
Nal saranghaneun geoshira yeongweonhan georago"
Jungkook couldn't help but appreciate her voice. She never took lessons, nor did she practice. But her voice was good enough. Maybe, if she had learned, she would be good at it. He smiled, as he joined her with the next verse. Their voices blending in like the heaven's choir, with a few ups and downs though,
"Geureon mal dashin hajima
Negen neomu gabyeoun
Geureona naegen neomu
Mugeoun i maeumi neoreul
Himdeulge haetguna jogeumeun
Mulleoseolkke gidarilke
Niga pyeonhadorok meolli seo isseulkke
Iri aeweonhajana
Hyeya eojji tteonaryeoneun geoya
Unneun geu nuneuro annyeongiran janinhan mareun
Nareul jugigo sumi meomchweo
Haengbokage haejudeon geu mellodiga
Ajik neomu challanhada
Jebal beorijima beorijima"
Jungkook took the lead alone. His soul pouring out through his voice. Sierra could sense his heart through the song. Sierra stepped back for a second, this was his song, his feelings. His voice made her melancholy, as he meant every word,
"Salgo shipji ana eojjihana
Neo eomneun nal eojjihana
Aye moreun chae sal geoseul
Ireoke michidorok seulpeul juriya
Hyeya eojji tteonaryeoneun geoya
Annyeongiran geureon janinhan mallo
Tteonabeorineun neoreul weonmanghagetji
Oh jebal oh
Gaji mara hyeya oh oh"
He stepped away. Tears flowing out of his eyes. He didn't even bother hiding them. The world saw her settling in his eyes. Why was it now that they both are getting hurt? Why wasn't there love? Why was it hurting now? Why can't they say goodbye? Why can't they stay? Why was she doing this to him? His heart. His heart wasn't even there anymore. There were just traces of coal left behind in his chest. He loved her. He loved her to the moon and back. He loved her with his all. Where was that love right now? How did they lose that love? Why did they lose that love?
Sierra stepped closer to him. She held his hands in her's. Looking him in his eyes, telling him as if, I'm here for you. She almost raised her mic to sing, but Jungkook cut her off. He was faster. His voice breaking a bit,
"Hyeya neoneun malhaesseotji geujeo
Chinguye gaseumeuro
Saranghaneun geoshira yeongweon hadago
Geureon mal dashin hajima
Negen neomu gabyeon
Geurona naegen neomu
Mugeoun i maeumi neoreul
Himdeulge haetguna jogeumeun
Mulleoseolkke gidarilkke
Niga pyeonadarok meolli seo isseulkke
Iri aewonhajana..."
Jungkook's voice cracked. He hid his face with his left hand. Sobbing. His face was as red as a cherry. She placed her head on his shoulder, continuing where he left off,
"Hyeya eojji tteonaryeoneun geoya
Annyeongiran geureon janinhan mallo
Tteonabeorineun neoreul weonmanghagetji
Hyeya jebal oh
Gaji mara hyeya oh."
In between sobs, Jungkook harmonised with her. His head on top of her's. She could feel his jaws moving slightly. A tiny sensation against her cheekbones. His voice wasn't stable, but it was heavenly indeed.
"Hmm no no gaji mara hyeya
Ooh."
They stayed like this. A bit longer than a moment. Till his pain turned into an ache. Till she felt his tears dry against her skin. Jungkook slowly sat straight, lifting his head up. He tried awkwardly smiling, itching his right ear,
"Sorry, for crying, ruining the mood and you know, we were supposed to have a duet..."
He could have finished but a pair of arms wrapped him tightly. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her. Her voice tiny,
"Gguk-ah, no matter what, you'll always have me."
"I promise you the same Si. Now, since I ruined our duet. I'll pay for you. Choose a song."
She let go, chuckling. Slightly nudging him,
"Yah, you know I am not a good singer."
He cheekily raise done eyebrow up. With a smug look, he giggled,
"Don't mind. Your twin's loaded."
"Treat me to food then. Chicken and beer."
He dramatically gasped, with his hands on his chest,
"You read my mind!"

Taehyung excused himself from Yoongi and Jin, a smile on his lips. Judging by the call he knew what was up. He smiled, picking the call,
"Hello. Angel, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being 'haven't had a single drop' and 10 being 'am drowning in alcohol' how drunk are you?"
"A 3-ish? You know me, I don't like the aftertaste from alcohol."
Behind Sierra, he heard a man groan. The slur in his voice, the slight fumbles. Taehyung chuckled,
"And Jungkookie?"
"11. Listen, neither Jungkook nor I can drive right now. So, my sweet prince, my saviour, my knight in the shining armour, please drive us home."
She was giggling. And it felt like the heaven's melody. He giggled back,
"You don't need to butter me up, Princess. Send me the location, I'll be there in a heartbeat, my Juliette."

She sat there, facing Jungkook. She gently ran her long fingers through his fluffy locks. Her voice low,
"Jungkook-ah, I wanted to tell you this all day long. But something in me didn't let me. I was scared I'll hurt you. I wanted to tell you so many times. When we were bowling. When you were choosing the song. When you ordered the chicken. But I just didn't have it in me. Your heart already is incredibly bruised. I can't hurt you more. But if I don't tell you so, I'll regret it. I'm a coward, Gguk. Your twin is scared. I'll tell you now, so that I don't have to tell you later on. I'll tell you now, cause you won't remember later on. Jungkook-ah... Lisa is..."
"Jeong Yoon-o. His name used to be Jeong Jae-Hyun, but he legally changed it to Jeong Yoon-o. Can play basketball and the piano. Is in the school's swimming team. He is a fellow 97 liner. I know. You can't break what's broken, Si."
His eyes had tears in them. He had a slight lisp in his words. But something in her told her, he was completely sober.
"Jun-Jungkook, I... I-didn't... I didn't..."
"It's alright Si, maybe it was bound to happen. Maybe that's what the universe had for me. I don't have anything against Lisa or him. I wish them all the happiness. But that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt me. It hurts so bad Ra. Stop this pain. Please. Stop this pain, I beg you."
