Even if the whole world breaks down at night, the next morning the sun would still rise. You would have your coffee. The subway would be bustled with people. The clock would tick at it's own pace. That's the beauty of Earth. It just knows how to go on.
Sierra saw the tinted world through the Porsche window. Taehyung was a good driver. His hand whirling the steering wheel. His eyes on the road and his heart with his lady right beside him. A formal blouse and pencil skirt. Hair neatly tied. Very natural-esque, warm toned makeup. Eyes dreamily looking out the window.
He parked the car, jumping out almost. He scurried to open her door, before she could. She smiled. Chivalrious, much?
Stepping out, he bowed. He gently took her hands in his. Kissing her knuckles, he murmured against his ears,
"Lady, promise me, that you are going to have your meals on time. Don't stress too much. Don't overwork yourself. Drink ample amount of water. And whenever you feel anything blue, just call me. I don't care when, just call me."
Sierra hummed, looking deep in his eyes. As if he was her paradise. Sierra gently pecked his cheek,
"Take care of yourself too Hwangjanim. I'll call you if I need. But please go easy on yourself too."

Ji-Yoon fiddled with her fingers. It was always so obvious. Why did it take her so long to figure it out? Jisoo was always easy to manipulate. There mother had some money. Jisoo would be the one getting it after their mother's death. Jisoo was basically the nominee.
Ji-Yoon stood back up. Gracefully walking towards Kim Seok-Jin's cabin. Back straight, good posture, chin held up high. She looked elegant and mature. Pushing the doorknob, Seok-Jin's office glistened in front of her eyes.
Sleek and squeaky clean. A few paintings on the wall. Whitewashed furnitures. A certain sharpness all around. Seok-Jin greeted her with a smile. His cheeks fluffed up like two freshly baked buns. He suited the chair. As if he was born to be the CEO.
"Ah! Noona, so glad to see you. Have you had breakfast? Should I order something for you? Make yourself at home, please. It's the worldwide handsome's office, you know?"
Jin cheekily winked, pointing finger guns at his cousin. But seeing Ji-yoon rolling her eyes, instead of rolling on the floor laugh like she used to. He cleared his throat, regaining his posture,
"Seems like you are in a bad mood. So tell me, Noona, what brings you here?"
"Jin-ie, we both know the truth. Let's not beat around the bush."
Ji-yoon toyed with the paper weight. Her attractively big eyes scanning Seok-jin entirely. He gulped, thankfully he was president of the acting club.
"The truth that I'm handsome? Noona, thank you..."
"Seok-jin-ah! I'm not here to hear out anymore bullshit. I'm talking about the truth behind my mother's death. That boy manipulated my sister to do so..."
"Namjoon would never. Noona you can't just come up and blame them. Drop that Noona, drop it. It's been months now."
"No! I can't drop it! Jisoo killed my mother!"
"Your mother was an abuser! Noona, your mother was an abuser. Accept it. Jisoo deserves a nice life. A happy one. She is happy now."
Ji-yoon rolled her eyes. Bitterly chuckling. As if she had lost it. Her beautiful features blending with he psychotic aura. Seok-jin thought it was stubbing his eyes. Mockery in her tone,
"Tsk. Of course she is happy now. You just prove dmy point. They killed my mother as they both knew that Jisoo was the nominee for all the money that saved. And now that they have received all that money, everything is running so smoothly from them. Of course they'll be happy. Leaving nothing at all for me."
"Is that why you are trying to frame Namjoon and Jisoo? Is money all that matters to you?"
"Isn't that what matters to everyone Jin-ie?"
The veins at the back of his neck popping. His eyes flet like the pits of hell. Ablaze. He clenched his jaws. Abruptly throwing open gis desk drawer. Taking out his cheque book. With his neat handwriting, he wrote everything but the amount. He almost threw the cheque at Ji-yoon. But didn't, she was his Noona. His teeth gritting against each other,
"Fill up your amount Noona."
Ji-yoon chuckled. Looking Seok-jin straight into his eyes. He swore he saw a psychopath in her eyes,
"The culprit in jail."

Sierra felt a tug inside her. She couldn't help but overhear. No matter what, her friend is in danger. That's the issue with humans. Their hearts never actually change. She quickly rummaged through the numbers. Her mind going blank. She wante dto dial Jennie. But she couldn't remember the number. So, Taehyung was a safe option. His deep voice felt even deeper, through the ringer,
"Love?"
"Jisoo Unnie and Namjoon Oppa are in danger."
Taehyung paused for a second. The tone of voice. The worry in her voice. It was a contagious emotion, he thought. As it had already caught him,
"What do you mean, Sierra?"
Sierra flinched a bit. But he couldn't see it, of course. She felt as if her name rolled off a bit differently. That was her issue. Since her mother used to call her by her name instead of Amor, her nickname, before every scolding or punishment. It has stuck to her that everytime when people call her in a barely noticeable change in octave, this means she has done something wrong and should be sorry for it.
He heard her breathe out, for a second. Did he mess up? Did he fail to show his love? He knew what triggered her and he was trying his best to avoid those things. She needs to be bubble wrapped. He will be her bubble wrap. His voice felt like molten honey,
"M'lady? I'm sorry, my Juliette. I called you by your name as your name is a poetry that rolls off my tongue without even trying. Your name is my hymn and I would throw all my words just to chant it. I didn't mean it in a way that can hurt you. I'm in love with you and I cannot be happier with you, my angel. Mademoiselle, I will never be angry or pissed at you. I love you, my Juliette."
