6:00 A.M
Hour One
Scarlet was running around the house and I was packing my bag. Something was going to happen, I could feel it. But it wouldn't be against the Capital, it was going to be against Alexandria. We've only been back a few days but Carol admitted that she saw Alpha and Alpha saw her. The whisperer's were here, they never left.
"What do you thinks gonna happen?" Anthony asked me. Scarlet ran into the back of my legs, fell to the ground, and got right back up again.
"I don't know, all I know is that the Capital is safe. It's where you and her should be." I told him and he shook his head.
"Do you think she's gonna send the hoard?" He asked.
"I don't know what's gonna happen, I don't know if anything is going to happen. All I know is that something is telling me I need to be in Alexandria. I also know that I made the Capital an unknown fortress for a reason." I reminded him and pulled the bag over my shoulder.
"If things get bad you come right back, that's what you agreed on." He reminded me and I shook my head.
"I know what I agreed on but if for some reason you or anybody here thinks that they're coming for the Capital, you know what to do." I reminded him and he nodded his head.
Hour 2
"You know why I hate when you get gut feelings?" I turned around and Daryl was walking towards me. I hadn't told anybody why I was here, but Daryl knew it wasn't for the hell of it.
"Why's that?" I asked him.
"Because they're always right." He told me and walked by my side.
Hour 4
It's been quiet besides the few small bunches of walkers. That's it, but it's still weird. Eugene's been seeing them from one of the watch towers, they just keep coming in spurts. We've been sending a few people to take care of them and it's been fine, but they just keep coming, almost on the hour every time. It had to be Alpha.
Hour 6
Now things were picking up. Laura had radioed that a small hoard was coming our way. Aaron was taking a bigger group out this time.
They had told me to stay, who knew what was going to happen.
I watched Aaron's group leave as they passed Laura and Kev.
Even with all of this happening I just kept thinking about the rest of the world. As far as we know the South and East coast are completely overrun. But that satellite came from another country. We have no idea what conditions the other countries are in, maybe they're completely fine. Livable.
Hour 11
Aaron's group was still out there but Eugene just kept telling me they were fine. He'd even let me look through the binoculars a few times. It was quite the herd but we had quite the fighters.
I don't know how long this was going to last, but I had a feeling we weren't going to be sleeping tonight either.
Hour 13
Aaron's group walked through the walls, looking like they'd just been to hell and back. Unfortunately they were going to have to bounce right back.
Aaron looked up at me and Eugene and Eugene quickly waved Aaron up. Once Aaron was up I sighed and handed him the binoculars. While Aaron looked in the direction I turned and looked that way.
