"Jess, I heard your going on a run." I turned around and there was somebody walking towards me.
"Yeah, I'm sorry-uh-Are you new here?" I asked and she gave a small laugh and stuck out her hand. I shook it.
"No, actually I got here a week before you guys did." She said and I was a little shocked.
"I am so sorry." I said with a smile and she let go of my hand.
"No, I tend to stick to myself. But about the run. I was wondering if I could come with you." She told me and I looked around.
"How often are you out there?" I asked. It was weird that I had never seen her before but she's been here since before me.
"I go out pretty often. I heard that it was just a simple run. I figured I should start helping out with this whole thing." She said. The thing was the Rick and Michonne already left and I had never seen her before.
"I'm Jess." I told her.
"Yeah, I know. I'm Jenna." She told me and I nodded my head.
"Are you ready?" I asked and she nodded her head.
"Great." I said and we walked to the gate. Gabriel opened it for us and he pulled me aside.
"Who is that?" He asked.
"So I'm not the only one who hasn't seen her before?" I asked him and he nodded his head.
"I've never seen her and I stand guard most of the time." Gabriel said and I looked back at her as she kicked rocks around.
"She says she's been here a week longer than us." I told him and Gabriel shook his head.
"Maybe you should talk to Anthony about it, he would know." Gabriel suggested.
"It'll be okay, I'll be okay." I told him.
"Be careful, especially cause we don't know her." Gabriel said and I nodded my head.
"Yeah, I know." I told him.
"Maybe I should mention it to somebody." Gabriel suggested and I looked at the strange girl.
"People that were here before us, only." I said back and walked back to Jenna. She followed me out and I looked back at Gabriel.
His face looked like he didn't want me going out there alone especially after what just happened. I shook my head and kept walking.
We were walking along the woods and Jenna was a foot ahead of me.
"You know, it's just weird that we've never seen you before." I pointed out and she just shrugged her shoulders.
"I like to keep to myself, didn't exactly have it easy on the way here." She told me and I nodded my head.
"Yeah, I get that." I whispered but the more I thought about it, the less sense it made to me.
"I wanted to come out here to talk to you." Jenna told me and I grew worried and suspicious.
"Okay?" I asked.
"It's gonna hurt, but you deserve to know and I think now's the time." Jenna said and I stopped walking.
"How about you just say it." I told her and she stopped walking but she didn't look at me.
"You remember when you were on that run?" She asked.
"Yeah, which one?" I asked and now I was starting to get a little pissed off.
"The one where you ran away with Enid." Jenna told me and I took a deep breath.
"We didn't run away, we went on a run." I corrected her and she still wouldn't look at me. But I was completely fine with looking at her. If she knew about the run maybe she really was here the whole time.
