"I think we got about a day's worth of water left. We're lucky it's cooled off a bit, but..." Rick started.
"If I hear a creek I'll get us some more." I told him while making sure nobody cheated on the rules of the game. Rick looked back at us as we were a few yards behind him.
"What are you doing?" Rick asked and I looked to my left where Carl was balancing and to my right where Michonne was balancing.
"Winning a bet." Carl told Rick and I wasn't sure if he should say that just yet.
"In your dreams." Michonne told him.
"I'm still on." Carl said and then started to teeter around the rail. If he were to use me as support it would be cheating. Rick was still looking at us from up the track.
"You spoke too soon, wise guy." Michonne told him and he finally regained his balance.
"This might go on a while. Maybe we can speed this up." Rick said and now he was only a few feet away from us. He was the one who wanted to see Carl happy, that's what was happening.
"Yeah, you're right. Shouldn't be fooling around. We should probably--Carl!" Michonne called it out in hopes of moving Carl without touching him. It only backfired in her face as she fell off the rail. Me and Carl both laughed at her.
"I win. Pay up." Carl told her. Michonne reached into the bag and grabbed out two candy bars. Rick gave a small laugh while she did it.
Michonne put two candy bars out to Carl.
"Is that really the last Big Cat?" Carl asked knowing that's what they both wanted. Now there was the problem that they were all gone.
Carl thought about it for a minute and then waved his hand over the Big Cat. He did win it was fair game.
"Oh, come on." Michonne said in a whinny voice.
"Hey, you said winner's choice." He said as she handed him the candy bar and put the other one away.
"Go ahead, take it. It's yours. You won it fair and square." Michonne told him and Carl handed her half of the candy bar.
"Come on, we always share." He told her and she grabbed it.
"Fork it over." She told him.
"Now that that's settled." I said and we all got back on track with a laugh.
