The medical kit had nothing that would be able to close the wound. I didn't have any thread or needle.

I ripped a piece of my shirt off and tied it around the top of it. It missed anything major, it had hit the side of my leg and gone through.

I groaned as I pulled the shirt tighter. The medical kit did have wrap and that was the best that I could do. It was all I could do in this moment.

My thigh was good, but it was still bleeding more than I would have liked. But I still couldn't do anything about it.

Daryl hadn't shown up yet and I was starting to lose all hope that I would find him. There was nothing that was proving me wrong. I started to twist the ring around my finger. No part of me wanted to give up.

Yet the seven walkers coming my way from the prison started to tell me I should get out of this area. I sighed and put everything away. I held my bow out while I cut through the woods. It would be better to stay off the road.

I cut back onto the road when there were no more walkers in sight. The sun was starting to set and my head was starting to feel light. I knew what would come next in this process. Delusion.

The fear of being alone wasn't a problem to be anymore. What I think feared me now was that I knew I wasn't alone out here.

The fact that I had nothing. All I had was a automatic I shouldn't use, a gun with a silencer, bow and quiver, a few knives, medical kit, and a bag. Everything else was in my bag, all the remembrance, the photos, the rest of my weapons, everything that was in there was now gone.

"Somebody took my sword, they took a woman's sword. If there's one thing they should teach in school it's to never take a woman's..sword. But now this little girl is all alone in this big wide world. And she has not a thing." I stopped singing my new hit single when I saw a car.

I didn't want to drive it, but I did want a place to sleep.

I opened the car and it opened immediately. There were no walkers, no blood. It was clean and there was food.

I saw down in the driver seat and reached back into a bag. There was a few cans and some more stuff but I grabbed the can of pumpkin filling, and pineapple chunks. I found a spoon and dug right in to my amazing dinner.

I threw the cans into the passenger seat and leaned the seat back. It felt like it took forever but my eyes eventually closed. Not because I wanted them to but because they got bored of being open.

I awoke in a sweat and I jolted forward. The car was empty and nobody was around it. But for some reason sleep wasn't sitting well. Maybe it was because of the untreated bullet wound in my leg.

I got out of the car and opened the trunk.

"Holy-" I grabbed the medical kit and ran to the driver seat with it.

The wound looked horrible now and it still hadn't stopped bleeding. It was a slow pace but it wasn't that slow. I'm shocked I didn't bleed out in the middle of the night.

The kit had thread and needle in it. I took the ring off and set it on the console. There was a belt in the backseat and I folded it in half then put it in my mouth.

My thigh was bleeding out in the car and I probably could have waited to unwrap it.

The needle was easy to thread and I poured the cleaning alcohol over it and I nearly screamed but I held it in. The cleaner bubbled and then it went down.
