I was walking around town and nobody had seen Rosita, Michonne, or Carl. Nobody even saw Carl leave, but I thought he told me he was with her.
I don't know if it was because of what happened with Negan or if they just weren't telling me anything.
"How has nobody seen Rosita?!" I asked and opened the door to the infirmary. I looked around and my heart dropped when I looked at the floor by the bed.
"Oh, my god." I whispered and slowly walked over to Tara sitting on the ground. I knelt down in front of her and she grabbed my hand.
"Tara, I'm so sorry." I told her and she looked down at the bobble head in her hand and then she looked back at me.
"It's not your fault and you know it...here, sit." Tara said and I sat next to her without anything resting against my back. I put my knees up and Tara looked at me.
"You doin okay?" She asked me and I looked at her.
"It's the first time anybody's really asked me that." I told her and looked at the door.
"Are you?" She asked again and I shook my head.
"It feels like a nightmare, you know? Like it's something that I dreamt about and I'm gonna wake up at any moment. Like I know how that sounds.
But it just feels like it's not real. Like, it didn't go the way it was supposed to.
And it didn't go the way it was supposed to." I said and looked back at her while she looked at me."Sorry, that was a lot." I told her and she shook her head.
"Was that really the first time you've really said anything about it?" Tara asked and I nodded my head.
"Yeah." I whispered.
"I can tell...It's always gonna feel like that though." Tara said and I nodded my head.
"Tara, where did you go?" I asked and she looked like she was hiding something.
"Tara, what did you find out there?" I asked and she looked at the ground again.
"I was sworn to secrecy." Tara whispered and I looked at her with wide eyes.
"But I know you're not gonna tell anybody." Tara told me and I nodded my head in agreement.
"They didn't hurt you and they let you come back." I pointed out and she nodded her head.
"Maybe one day I'll tell you." She whispered and I nodded my head.
"That's okay." I whispered and looked back at the door.
I grabbed the pack of cigarettes from the closet and made sure I had my lighter in my pocket. I grabbed my sword and walked out of the house.
I looked at Katherine who was on the gate and she looked at me.
"Whose all gone?" I asked.
"Rick, Aaron, Michonne, Carl, Rosita, Eugene, Gabriel, Spencer." She told me and I nodded my head.
"I'm going out too." I told her and she started sliding the gate.
"You want me to go with you?" She asked.
"No, I'll be close enough to hear everything, if you need me just call out for me or something." I told her and she nodded her head as I walked out.
I was gonna go to the ledge but I didn't want to anymore. Once I got to the gate I changed my mind.
I found the bush and took away the grass and sticks. My bike was still there and I took a sigh of relief.
