Water was running low, food was running low, mourning was taking place wherever you looked.

I walked over with Daryl and Maggie and we saw Sasha kicking the ground in the dip below. She slowly shook her head and we still couldn't find any.

Daryl walked away first and I followed him. Maggie was behind me and Sasha was soon after her. We escaped the edge of the forest and we saw the cars down the road.

"Oh, shit." Sasha whispered.

"It's been a day and a half. They didn't find any either." Maggie said and all of our people were just sitting there. You could see it in the way they looked at us.

"How do you know?" Sasha asked.

"I know." Maggie said and we all wanted it. Yet none of us could find it.

"How much longer we got?" Maggie asked.

"60 miles." Sasha said and I sighed. Washington seemed like a good idea but this road trip was starting to kick our asses.

"I wasn't talking about that." Maggie clarified.

"If were lucky two days." I told her.

The van engine slowly sputtered and I hit my head on the back of the seat.

"We're out, just like the other one." Abraham said.

"So we walk." Rick said and we all slowly got out of the van. Everybody grabbed there stuff and we started walking.

Me and Daryl turned around and Rick walked up to us with Judith. He started to hand her to me and I nodded my head. Rick put Judith in my arms and we looked at our people behind us.

"We're not at our strongest." Rick said and we turned back around.

"We'll get em when it's best. High ground, something like that. They're not going anywhere." Rick said and I'm pretty sure he was talking about the walkers. I took a few steps ahead of them but I could still hear the conversation.

"It's been three weeks since Atlanta. I know you lost something back there." Rick told Daryl. I had been told that I was the only person he really wanted to talk to. Which I really didn't understand, but I was flattered.

Judith started fussing in my arms so I made it so she could see Daryl and Rick.

"She's hungry." Daryl said and there wasn't anything that we could do at the moment. Because we didn't have anything.

"She's okay. She's going to be okay." Rick said and he held onto her hand for a second before dropping it.

"We need to find water, food." Daryl said and I nodded my head.

"We'll hit something on the road. It's gonna rain sooner or later." Rick said.

"I'm gonna head out. See what I can find." Daryl said and handed Rick the gun. I turned and looked at them.

"Hey, don't be too long." Rick told him.

"I'll go with you." Carol told him.

"I got it." Daryl said.

"You gonna stop me?" She asked and I knew that wasn't exactly the best thing to say to him. Daryl looked at her and then looked back into the woods while she followed him.

I held back so I could walk next to Glenn.

Carl had Judith and we had to make it where we all walked in a group. The group of walkers got bigger and it was just better if we were all bunched together. We couldn't lose anybody else.
