"What are you doing?" I turned and Abraham was walking into the kitchen. It was about five in the morning and I was cooking.

"Is it breakfast?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I love the guessing game." He said while sitting down at the island. I continued what I was doing and Abraham was twiddling his thumbs.

"That was a joke. In case you didn't catch that." He quickly said and I nodded my head.

"I got that."I said to him.

"Good, you're not mute." He told me.

"It's pasta." I told him quietly.

"Awesome. Pasta at five in the morning. Why?" He asked and I dropped the noddles into the boiling pot.

"It's for Jessie. Because she took over for me last night. I figured her and the kids might like this."I explained.

"Totally awesome yeah." Abraham told me.

"What are you doing awake?" I asked him.

"Mental clock. Habit. Why are you awake?" He asked.

"I slept...for a little while."

"How long?"

"20 minutes." As soon as I said it Sasha came walking out of the bathroom and we both looked at her. She looked directly at me with this grim look. It made me sad and I looked away as she left the house.

"Abe, do you want coffee?" I quietly asked while trying to hide the tears. But I could hear him moving behind me and then I saw him making his own coffee.

"Listen, I know you hear it a lot. But these people care about you. And you better believe they were shitting their pants when they realized you were gone. Hell, I can't deny I was partaking in the pants shitting when I heard. They almost committed murder, J. You are the heart and soul of this group, and you just left. We didn't even know where you were, we wouldn't have known where to look. You bet your curly q's we were angry.
But when I saw you get out of that van, I could feel it. Okay? We're not angry at you, we are upset. You're gonna have to give them time. They still love you, but damn, girl, you almost sent us all into cardiac arrest.
Now, listen, I don't care if you tell me. I don't care if you get mad at me. You don't have to tell me what happened out there, but I know that something did. What I'm trying to say, and I know you have plenty of people to talk to, but if you want to tell me, you can." Abraham finished while hovering over me and I wiped the one tear that was falling down.

I went to say something but suddenly I could hear Judith crying in the baby monitor.

"Go. Get your girl. I'm gonna go check on Sasha." Abraham told me and I quickly ran upstairs to get Judith.

I stood down the street and watched them open the gate. Daryl didn't even look back before leaving on the motorcycle. Aaron was right behind him in the car.

I deserved it. I was the one that had been acting like a total wacko lately. None of them knew what happened. They knew about the deaths but they didn't know about my connections to the ones that died.

"I'm really happy that you got your brother back." I turned around and Katherine was right there. All I could do was nod my head.

"I can tell he's changed. Just by the way he acted when you got back. I'm going to assume you don't always ignore people like this." Katherine said and I nodded my head.

"Normally I'm the more cheery one, sometimes, because I feel like I need to be." I told her and she stood next to me.

"I may not be your favorite person, I know how I was before. But I'm really hoping that we can at least be some sort of friends." Katherine said and I nodded my head.
