"Rosita?" I asked and opened my eyes fully.
"Hey." She whispered and put down the book. Rosita looked sad and worried.
"Daryl's not back. Abraham and Sasha aren't back. Glenn's not coming back. The herd's here. Am I right?" I asked.
"Jess." Rosita said and grabbed my hand. I nodded my head and turned in the bed.
"I knew it." I said.
"They're doing everything they can." Rosita said.
"That chances of Glenn coming back are slim, so slim it won't happen." I told her and a tear rolled down my cheek.
"You can't think like that." She told me.
"How come I can't feel the pain?" I asked her.
"I put you on some heavy medication." Rosita said with a smile.
"Yeah, I can tell." She smiled and brushed a hair out of my face.
"They're gonna be back. They all are, and they're gonna come see you. Imagine your brother's fac--"
"Daryl! Where's my walkie?!" I frantically asked and sat up.
"Why? Jess, what's going on?" She asked and went to go grab it.
"Shit. When I was trying to find out what it was I was asking each of the groups to try and figure it out. Daryl was the last one I was on the radio with and I didn't exactly leave in a comforting way. Than after I forgot to tell him I was okay because I went right to Rick." I told her and she handed my the radio.
"Daryl?" I asked and there was nothing. Rosita sat next to me and waited.
"Daryl?" I asked again.
"Daryl!" I said and then the door opened.
"Maggie." I whispered and set the walkie down.
"Hey, you're awake." She said and came to sit down on the opposite side of Rosita.
"Maggie, I'm so sorry. I was going to look for him, but they stopped me--" I started.
"Jess, you already told me this." Maggie told me and Rosita leaned forward.
"No, I didn't." I said and shook my head.
"Jess, you and Michonne told me and Maggie what happened." Rosita said and I looked at the both of them.
"That was when she collapsed." Maggie said to Rosita.
"I collapsed?!" I frantically asked them.
"Did you hit your head?" Rosita asked.
"Yeah, I guess. Maybe twice." I told them.
"What's the last thing you remember?" Maggie asked.
"Seeing the guard tower." I told them.
"Denise!" Rosita called out.
"Who?" I asked.
Rick walked into the room and we all looked at him. Maggie, Rosita, Michonne, and Tara walked out.
"Oh, balls." I whispered. Rick walked over and stood at the foot of the bed.
"They filled me in, on everything." I told him and he nodded his head.
"Good. Did you turn your walkie off?" Rick asked.
"You said Glenn's name and I was sick of the constant nagging at him being dead." I told Rick and he put his hands on the bed.
