I opened my eyes slowly and squinted in the bright sunlight. I groaned as my head began throb. I was really regretting drinking so much last night. I frowned slightly as I realised that I wasn't at home. I had no idea where I was.

I gasped slightly as I realised that I was naked. What had I done?! I could hear someone breathing deeply beside me but I was afraid to turn over. Afraid of who it might be. How could I have been so stupid. I wasn't this kind of girl.

I took a deep breath and turned my head. I squeaked as I saw Caleb sleeping peacefully. I had never even thought of him that way, so I had no idea why this had happened. I quickly wrapped one of the blankets around my naked frame and searched for my clothes. I eventually found them and quickly pulled them on. I quickly grabbed my phone from the bedside table and tiptoed out of the room. If I could just get away without him waking up, hopefully he was to drunk to remember what had happened. I didn't want to get involved with someone I worked with, especially someone who liked women so much. It was obvious that he's a player and I didn't want to involve myself with someone like that.

I winced as the front door clicked loudly as I closed it behind myself. I could only hope that when I had to face him again on Monday, it would all be forgotten.

Monday came around to quickly for my liking. I breathed a sigh of relief when I noticed the rota and saw that Caleb wasn't in until ten am. Hopefully I would be able to avoid him for most of day. I jumped as Ethan started rummaging through the pile of patient notes beside me.

"Someone is jumpy." he stated.

I nodded slowly.

"How was the night out?" he asked.

"Fine." I replied shortly. I was still disappointed that he didn't let me know that he wouldn't be going.

"Did you get smashed." he grinned.

"I had a few too many." I admitted.

"Which was Robyn's fault." I added loud enough for Robyn to hear. She held up her hands in defence and grinned.

"You didn't do anything crazy did you?" he chuckled.

"What's with all the questions?!" I snapped.

"Nothing, I'm just showing an interest." he said defensively.

"Well stop quizzing me." I said bluntly as I picked up the paperwork and walked away.

I didn't see Ethan for the rest of my shift and thankfully I had managed to avoid Caleb for most of the day. That was until he found me and asked for my help. I sighed and followed him. I frowned slightly as he led me to a hallway and stopped.

"What am I meant to be helping you with?" I asked.

"Nothing, I just wanted to talk to you, it's obvious you've been avoiding me." he said.

"Well I have nothing to say." I said as I walked past him.

I stopped as he grabbed my wrist. As soon as I stopped walking he instantly let go of me.

"I want to talk about what happened." he stated.

My heart sunk as I realised that he remembered what had happened between us.

"There's nothing to talk about." I pointed out.

"I thought you might want to get a drink sometime." he offered.

"I don't think that's such a good idea, last night shouldn't have happened." I said quietly.

"Oh right, I thought you liked me." he said as he ran his hand through his hair uncomfortably.

I sighed. I couldn't deny that he was handsome, but I could tell that he was a player and I didn't want to be in a relationship with someone like that.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"No problem." he said as he turned and walked away.

"Caleb!" I called after him.

"Yep." he said as he turned back to face me.

"Can we keep it between ourselves?" I asked.

"Sure." he said shortly.

"Please." I tried again.

"I promise I won't say anything." he reassured me.

"Thanks." I called as he walked away.
