"Take good care of them Iain." I said as the paramedics finally arrived.

"I will." he smiled.

"Thanks for everything." Amy said as she took my hand and squeezed it gently.

"You're welcome and congratulations." I told her.

"Thanks." she said happily as she smiled down at her newborn son.

I watched as they were put into the ambulance and driven away.

"You did good." Ethan said as he came up behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"It was terrifying." I admitted.

"Yeah but you coped and mum and baby will be fine." he said happily.

"Only because you were there, you deserve some of the credit." I told him.

I smiled slightly as he blushed.

"That was an eventful afternoon." he chuckled as we walked back to the car.

"You can say that again." I said.

"It gave me a thought though." he stated.

"Uh oh." I said nervously.

"It's a good thought." he said quietly.

"How about we try for a baby?" he added.

"What?!" I exclaimed as I stopped dead in my tracks.

"Why not, you'll be a great mum." he told me.

"We have so much drama going on that it's not the right time." I protested.

"When is it ever the right time?" he insisted.

"It's maybe not a great idea after what happened last time." I pointed out.

"There's no reason to suggest that things won't be fine this time." he stated.

"Maybe." I whispered.

"It's just something to think about." he said quietly.

I sighed as he went quiet. It upset me to see how disappointed he was that I wasn't enthusiastic about it. We had to much drama going on at the moment. Ethan and I were only just getting back to normal after everything. I was still having counselling and there was ongoing drama with Caleb. But maybe he was right, maybe we were ready to be parents. I needed to give it some serious thought.
