"I know it's sudden but I feel like I've known you forever." he rambled.

"I love you and I promise I'll take care of you." he added.

My mouth was so dry that I couldn't speak. I hadn't been expecting this. It felt almost to good to be true.

"Say something." he pleaded.

I nodded.

I smiled as he sighed in relief.

"It's beautiful." I whispered as he placed the ring on my finger.

"You're too good to me." I added.

"Because I love you." he grinned.

"I love you too." I whispered as he leaned in and kissed me under the stars.

"We can have a long engagement if that would make you feel happier." he offered.

"Feel better about what?" I asked him.

"Getting married." he said.

"I am looking forward to it." I told him.

"Well we have only been together for a few months, I don't want to rush you." he admitted.

"Ethan you worry to much, I know this is the right decision." I told him.

"Good." he grinned.

"Besides we practically live together anyway." I pointed out.

"Speaking of which, shall we head home?" he suggested.

I nodded and took his hand as we walked back to the car.
