Chapter Seventy Two

Ethan's POV

I felt a deep surge of anger in the pit of my stomach, I'd never felt this angry before. He'd been talking to her moments before she went into the bathroom and now she had those wounds. Seeing those marks on her beautiful skin was making me feel sick. It shouldn't be like this, nothing should be allowed to tarnish her. Especially him. How dare he hurt her, the most beautiful person I'd ever met. She has the kindest soul of anyone I'd ever met why would anyone want to hurt her. I'd make him pay for what he did. No one hurts my fiance and gets away with it.

"What the hell have you done?!" I exclaimed as I flung open the lounge door. I heard it crash loudly against the wall but I didn't care.

"What is it now Nibbles?" Caleb sighed.

"How could you do that to her?!" I shouted, my anger reaching boiling point as he looked at me smugly.

"I always knew you were horrible, but I never thought you'd stoop that low." I added.

"I don't know what you are talking about?" he shrugged.

"To be honest, I'm trying to watch Top Gear, so can you save your outburst for later." he added condescendingly.

"Not until you admit what you've done?!" I said my hands now shaking with rage.

"Ethan you're just pissed because I kissed her and you're looking for a row." he sighed.

I looked over my shoulder as Emma entered the room and hovered nervously in the doorway.

"Stop fighting." she said quietly.

"Emma, are you okay?" Caleb asked gently as he stood up.

"Ironic that you would ask that?" I spat.

"Ethan she's upset okay, so just stop." he said.

I shook my head angrily as I glared at him.

"Can't you see that you're hurting her?" he sighed.

His words were to much, before I knew what was happening I struck out and gasped as my fist made contact with his jaw. I took deep breaths as I watched him press his hand against his bleeding lip.

"Ethan what the hell was that?!" Emma exclaimed.

I turned to face her and saw a look of disappointment on her pretty features. My stomach dropped as she turned and ran upstairs.
