I sighed as I quickly stuffed the laundry into the washing machine. I stood up and jumped as I turned and saw Ethan standing directly behind me.

"Don't do that!" I exclaimed as I slapped his arm.

"I didn't do anything." he grinned.

"You sneaked up on me." I told him.

"Not deliberately." he chuckled.

"You know nothing happened between me and Rita." he said randomly.

"That was random." I laughed.

"I just wanted to reassure you, after Caleb stirring up yesterday." he said quietly.

"It's fine, I trust you." I told him.

"Besides you aren't great with women." I teased him.

"Well I got you didn't I?" he bantered back.

"Yeah you did, god knows what I was thinking!" I giggled.

"You obviously couldn't resist my boyish charm." he laughed.

I jumped as I heard my mobile ringing.

"It's an unknown number." Ethan said as he handed me the phone.

"Hello." I frowned as I answered it.

Ethan's POV

I watched her as she walked away with the phone. I wanted to follow her, ever since she had remembered me, I hated having her out of my sight. I wanted to know that she was safe and the only way I could do that was to be by her side all the time.

I could hear her speaking but couldn't make out the words. I didn't want to listen into her conversation, it wasn't right. I would ask her about it when she'd finished on the phone.
