A couple of weeks had passed since Caleb stayed at our house. His stay had passed relatively drama free, he'd been on his best behaviour for once.

I glanced up from my book and watched Ethan packing.

"Have you seen my sunglasses?" he asked me.

"I think you left them in the car." I answered.

"Do you have to go?" I grinned.

"Yes unfortunately I do." he stated.

He laughed as I pouted at him.

"It's only one day." he chuckled.

"Where is this training day?" I asked him.

"Birmingham." he answered.

"That'll take a while on the train." I said.

"That's why I'm leaving tonight." he stated.

"I'll be cold in bed without you." I pouted.

He laughed. I squealed as he leant over and began to tickle me.

"Get off!" I squealed.

"Oops!" he exclaimed as he slipped and fell on top of me.

"You okay?" he asked.

"I am now." I teased him.

I grinned as he blushed. I smiled and kissed him gently.

"Stop distracting me, I have to pack!" he protested as I slowly unfastened his belt.

I grinned at him mischievously and continued.

A couple of hours later I sighed as we pulled up at the train station. The moment I'd been dreading had finally arrived. I hated the thought of being away from him, I knew he hated it as much as me. Connie had insisted that the junior doctors attend this CPD about new medications that would soon be in circulation. I knew that I had to let him go, but that didn't stop me hating it.

"Will you miss me?" he grinned as we stood on the platform.

"Are you kidding of course I will!" I exclaimed.

I hugged him tightly, I didn't want to let him go.

"Try not to have an argument with Caleb." I whispered in his ear.

"He's not going." he stated.

"What?" I asked as I eventually let him go.

"Connie doesn't want us all going on the same day otherwise she won't have enough staff. Some of them are going next week." he told me.

"So you'll be the one who has to put up with him." he added.

"I'm sure I'll manage." I smiled.

My heart sank as the train arrived at the station. It was time to say goodbye. He laughed as I hugged him again.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too." he whispered back.

"I'm going to miss the train." he chuckled when I still didn't let go of him.

"So?" I laughed.

I sighed and let go of him.

"I'll call you when I get there." he called as he walked towards the train.
