We finally made it home from our trip into town to see Stuart. Things had been awkward at first but after a while we had relaxed. Ethan had barely said a word the whole time, he just sat and glared at Stuart. I loved how Ethan wanted to protect me, but it had been a bit awkward.

I was pleased with how things had gone, Stuart seemed different. I was hopeful that he had changed this time. The only way I would allow him to remain in my life was if he stayed away from the drama. I couldn't keep going round in circles with him. This was his last chance. I jumped as Ethan walked into the room as I was getting changed.

"I didn't mean to startle you." he chuckled.

"You could have knocked." I pouted at him.

"It's my room too." he grinned.

I laughed and threw my shirt at him.

"Ouch." he grinned sarcastically.

I laughed, but stopped instantly as I heard a knock at the door. I glanced at Ethan as he opened the door. I smiled as Kirstie walked into the room.

"Can I talk to the two of you?" she whispered.

"Yeah what's going on?" Ethan asked worridly.

Something wasn't right, I could see that she had been crying and was visibly shaking. She sat on the bed and Ethan sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

"I need to tell you guys something." she whispered.

"But I don't know how too!" she sobbed.

"It's okay." Ethan reassured her.

"It's not." she said shaking her head.

"It can't be that bad." I smiled at her.

"It's my biggest secret." she whispered.

"You don't have to share it with us, if you don't want too." Ethan told her.

"No, I need too." she insisted.

"Well take your time then." Ethan said gently.

She continued crying for a moment, but eventually took a deep breath.

"You know how I told you I have a son." she sighed.

"Yeah." Ethan frowned.

"Little Kai." she smiled proudly.

"Yeah, what about him?" I frowned.

I had a horrible feeling I knew where this was going.

"He's Cal's son." she sobbed.

Ethan's jaw dropped as he stared at her open mouthed.

"Wow." I whispered.

"Wait, so that means I'm an uncle!" Ethan exclaimed as he finally made the connection.

I watched Kirstie closely as she nodded slowly.

"Why the hell didn't you tell us?!" he cried.

"Ethan don't." I whispered.

"Come on, that's out of order, Cal doesn't even know that he's a dad." he stated.

"Are you going to tell him?" I asked her.

"I don't know, I wouldn't know where to start." she sighed.

I glanced at Ethan as I saw him shake his head.

"Could you tell him for me?" she asked.

"No way!" Ethan snapped.

"I was speaking to Emma." she replied.

"You guys seem to have a connection, maybe he'll be okay if it comes from you." she added.

I glanced at Ethan as he snapped his head towards me.

"I think it should come from you." I said quietly.

"I'm not ready to tell him yet." she admitted.

"I'm done with this." Ethan said angrily as he stood up and left the room.

I watched him as he walked away and frowned as he opened the door and gasped. I clapped my hand over my mouth as I saw him standing face to face with Caleb.
