Emma's POV

I was done with this, I couldn't take it anymore, the constant barrage of drama and arguing was doing my head in. No one understood me, it's like I was on a different wave length to all of them. I needed some time out, and not just for a couple of hours.
I quickly grabbed my bag and began to throw clothes into it. I still loved Ethan but strangely I didn't feel sad at the thought of being away from him for a few days, just relieved at the thought of having a break. I flung some shoes into the bag and quickly texted Robyn.

I silently cursed as Ethan entered the room, I really wasn't in the mood for this.

"Where are you going?" he asked, a note of panic in his voice.

"I need a few days away, to think about things." I sighed.

"Think about what things?!" he exclaimed.

I sighed and continued packing.

"You mean us?" he asked worridly.

"I'm not leaving you, I just need a break from the drama, to recharge my batteries." I reassured him.

"I'll come with you." he said quietly.

"No Ethan, I need a break from everything!" I replied sternly.

"Even me." he whispered.

I nodded slowly.

"Please don't go." he whispered.

"I'll be back in a few days." I said dismissively.

I was determined not to let him change my mind, I needed to do this. Maybe if I had some time out, I would be able to cope better with all the drama.

"I love you." he muttered.

I randomly turned to face him.

"Why the hell did you hit Caleb?!" I exclaimed.

"I assumed that he's been hurting you, is there something you want to talk to me about?" he asked gently.

"I'm not ready to talk about it right now." I said as I picked up my bag and walked away.
