Kirstie's POV

"I smell pizza!" I exclaimed as I happily bounded downstairs and into the kitchen.

I froze as I came face to face with Caleb.

"Where are the others?" I asked quickly.

"I don't know but they went out." he answered.

"So you got all that pizza just for yourself?" I asked him.

"No, I thought we were all going to eat together." he sighed.

"I think everyone hates me at the moment." he added.

"It's your own fault." I snapped.

He sighed and looked at me for a moment.

"Would you like some pizza?" he offered.

"Yeah I guess so." I sighed as I sat at the table opposite him.

I took a slice of pizza and glanced up at him. The silence was uncomfortable.

"So how have you been?" he asked me.

"Fine, you?" I said.

"Not too bad." he said quietly.

I nodded slowly. Things were so awkward between us. We'd had such a great relationship, it was a shame that things hadn't worked out between us.

"Seems funny hanging out, just the two of us." he grinned.

I nodded slowly, he still made my heart flutter when he smiled at me. He was so handsome.

"Do you miss living in England?" he asked.

"Yeah in some ways, I didn't want to leave." I admitted.

"So why did you?" he frowned.

"I needed to get as far away from you as possible." I told him.

"You broke my heart." I added.

"I know and I am sorry, it's my biggest regret." he sighed.

I looked into his green eyes and quickly looked away. It had been almost four years since we broke up, but I realised now that I still hadn't completely moved on.

"It's all in the past now though." he sighed.

"Yeah I guess it is." I sighed.
