I couldn't stop thinking about what Kirstie said last night. How did she know so much about these things. I knew that she was a secretive person, I still didn't know what had happened between her and Caleb. Ethan glanced at me as I sighed and climbed out of bed.

"I thought we were having a day in bed." he protested.

"Yeah we are, I just need to speak to Kirstie." I told him.

"Aww c'mon." he pouted.

"I'll be back, I promise." I smiled.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to get out of bed I thought as my head started to pound. Being hungover was a nightmare.

Eventually I reached Kirstie's room, I could hear the TV playing as I knocked on the door.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked.

She nodded and gestured for me to come in.

"So what's up?" she frowned as we sat on the bed.

"I can't stop thinking about what you said last night." I said.

"I said a lot of things last night." she smiled.

"About pregnancy being a nightmare." I prompted.

"I don't remember saying that." she said dismissively.

"Well you did." I insisted.

She shrugged and looked away from me.

"Why is it such a big issue?" she asked me.

"No reason." I frowned.

"I'll leave you in peace." I added as I stood up and left.

I frowned to myself as I walked away. She'd been really dismissive with me, it seemed like she was hiding something.

"You'll get lines if you keep frowning like that." Ethan chuckled as I returned to our bedroom and climbed into bed beside him.

"I can't help it." I said quietly.

"Why what's going on?" he asked as he propped his head up with his hand and gazed at me. I turned over so that I was facing him. I sighed and told him what Kirstie had said last night and this morning.

"I'm confused, what's the issue?" he asked.

"I think she's hiding something." I sighed.

"Has she been pregnant before?" I asked him.

"Not that I know of." he answered.

"It's bothering you isn't it?" he added.

"Yeah but I'm not sure why." I chuckled.

"I'll talk to her tomorrow." he grinned.

"Okay." I said quietly.

"Have you had any more thoughts about us trying for a baby?" he asked nervously.

"I haven't really thought about it." I said thoughtfully.

He sighed sadly.

"Would we manage to take care of a baby when we both work full time?" I asked.

"We'd have to work our shifts so that I work the days that you're off and vice versa." he stated.

"You mean both work part time?" I said.

"Yeah I guess so." he answered.

"Let's just see how things go." I sighed.
