The sunlight streaming in through the window made my tired eyes wake up. despite the cold night it looked like it was going to be a nice day. I blinked the grit out of my eyes and cleared my throat, my throat was dry and my head was pounding a bit but it felt perfectly fine.

As i moved i felt Thomas arm around my waist and was immediately reminded of yesterday, or rather last night. I have no idea when we got to the hotel but it can't have been that late.

I closed my eyes again and smiled. The evening had started in disaster and ended....well, absolutely magical. Thomas was still breathing heavily with his head resting against my neck. It felt good to have him sleeping so close to me. Before we went on this trip, i never thought that i would ever sleep together with Thomas, maybe fuck, we had more or less decided that, but not spend the whole night, several nights, sleeping together.

I lay a little on my side towards him and gently stroked his hair and forehead. He looked so calm when he slept, not nearly as tough as everyone was probably used to seeing him. I swallowed a laugh when his eyelids twitched. Wonder what he dreamed about.

In the middle of the moment's dreaming, i heard a phone ring. It must be Thomas, obviously, because it wasn't my ringtone. He moved beside me before digging his head into my neck again making me laugh.

"It's ringing" i whispered and stroked his hair again, i couldn't help it.

"Mm, let it ring" he murmured hoarsely and pulled me into his arms.

The room fell silent again, it felt almost unreal. A feeling of something i had never felt before. If it were possible, i would like to stay like this forever. Just me and Thomas, completely naked close to each other. It was something i also never thought would happen before this trip, that i could feel that way with him just by being close.

When it rang again i flinched and sighed. What the hell was that important? i thought and opened my eyes. As the beeps continued to ring, i stared up at the ceiling. Maybe it was someone from the gang calling. Although it could be anyone.

"You should probably answer" i said yawning and stretching.

"It's nothing important" Thomas said rolling over onto his back.

Nothing important? how could he know that? i glanced at him and heard him breathing heavier again. Boys, i thought, rolling my eyes. I had thought that Thomas was a morning person, however i didn't know what time it was but it was light outside so at least it wasn't night anymore. Maybe he was a bit behind just like me.

When the mobile phone rang a third time Thomas sat up in bed annoyed without me having to point out that it was ringing. He rubbed his face and hair before crawling away and leaning over the edge of the bed to fish his phone out of his pants.

"What the hell do you want" he replied so i raised my eyebrows.

Not the calm nice Thomas anymore, he was awake now though, i thought, biting my lips to keep from laughing. He really could be two completely different people depending on who he was talking to and he was clearly annoyed with whoever it was that was raining.

He spoke for a few seconds before finishing with a bitter, 'sure'. I held my breath as he scratched his hair again and stood up.

"I have to go" he said shortly and pulled on his pants.

"Did something happen?" i asked, feeling my stomach clench. Who the hell had called and why did he have to go.

When he didn't answer i sat up in bed and looked at him questioningly.

"Hello? Who was calling?"

"But no one. I just have to go."

"Thomas-" i started but couldn't get any more words out so i just shook my head. The same old Thomas, the Thomas i hated.
