Chapter 81

Finally! i thought and exhaled. finally everyone had finished eating, then it was just for me and Thomas to get up and go. At least that's what i had thought.

"The last night, what do you want to do?" Jake asked, glancing over us sitting around the table.

"I think we could hanging out at your cabin" Kylie said so i looked at Thomas. Please say no.

"Y/n, can i talk to you?" Brooke asked making me raise my eyebrows.

"Sure" i said and stood up.

Wonder what Brooke wants, i thought as we walked silently to one of the couch that stood some distance away from the restaurant itself. Of course we haven't seen each other much these days, but it wasn't my fault. She and Dylan had been sitting on each other like glue. but what else could it be?

"What did you want to talk about?" i asked, leaning against one of the couch backs.

"Well i thought....or we talked, Dylan and i, about wanting to sleep in our hotel room tonight" she said and turned her gaze out of the large panoramic window.

"Uh what?"

"I thought now that you and Thomas don't have a secret relationship anymore, you can take the room in the cabin that me and Dylan had. Jake and Will have the other room so you still get to sleep alone."

I hadn't even thought that far. Of course Brooke would have our room, but it didn't feel great to spend the last night in the cabin with Jake and Will wall to wall. But what choice did i have? i had slept in our room every night so it was her turn to sleep there.

"Um, i guess so" i muttered, straightening up.

"So it's okay?"

"Yes, it's your room as much as mine."

"Thanks, i thought you would be mad" she said and hugged me.

Mas? yes, maybe that was exaggerating a bit but i wasn't happy. Though it wasn't Brooke's fault. I could understand her, of course she just wanted to be alone with Dylan. As much as i wanted to be alone with Thomas, i thought, taking a deep breath.

"I'm not mad, i understand" i said but heard myself how strained my voice sounded.

"Good, but it will be an early morning tomorrow so we will have time to pack everything. I heard the bus will be rolling at ten so we have to return the skis and check out before then."

I guess that was my salvation, i didn't have to be in the cabin very long. The evening and the few hours of the morning i would probably survive. Hopefully.

We went back to the others in silence and when i sat down on the chair again Thomas put his arm around my backrest.

"Everything okay?" he whispered making me shrug.

"You and i get to spend the night at the cabin" i whispered, glancing over at Brooke and Dylan.

"In the cabin? Why?"

"Brooke and Dylan will have the hotel room tonight" i said curtly and turned my gaze to Thomas.

"Mmhm, this is going to be interesting" he muttered and took a deep breath.

"Eh, it's only a few hours. We are leaving tomorrow and there's a lot to fix before the bus rolls so..."

"Yes, it will be what it will be" he said and straightened up. In other words, no more fucking on this trip.

Not that it bothered me much, me and Thomas have had sex a lot so it didn't bother me. Probably because i hadn't turned down for more but there would be more opportunities, we were together now so we could fuck whenever we wanted. But having to share the cabin with Jake in particular didn't feel like much fun, even worse if Kylie would also be in the cabin all evening. Which she surely would.
