Chapter 109

Seeing Thomas standing only a few meters away had made my brain and heart stop for a second, which was quite ridiculous. Everyone seemed to be at this new year's party so why wouldn't Thomas be? he was still one of the gang so. It was just that i hadn't seen him since christmas eve.

I was jolted out of my thoughts when i heard the voice i hated most in the entire world.

"There you are!" said Kylie who came trailing with Lizzy close behind. Of course, why was i even surprised?

"Hey Y/n, i thought you had moved away after your embarrassing outburst at school" Kylie continued mockingly and laughed.

"And i thought you had killed yourself after your betrayal" i hissed and gave her a hard look.

"Why should i? Best year ever and i hope it continues. By the way, has anyone seen Thomas?"

I couldn't help but fly off the couch to find myself face to face with Kylie.

"One more word and i will punch you in the face, understand?" i said so menacingly that it felt like the music around us fell silent.

"What? Thomas is single now, not that this mattered before."

"What the hell are you guys arguing about this time?"

Thomas's voice made me freeze and i felt the hair on my arms stand up.

"There you are, i was just wondering where you were, i thought that....you know, that we could-" Kylie started so stupidly that i had to clench my fists tightly to keep from hitting her when i turned to Thomas.

"Enough!" Dylan yelled so i jumped.

I saw Kylie clench her jaw as she turned around and glared over my shoulder, so i slowly turned around again but the only thing that met my gaze was Jake.

"Enough Kylie, you have taken this way too far" Jake said suddenly sounding more sober than before.

"What are you talking about?" i asked, frowning.

"Not now" Thomas said warningly but Jake just shook his head so i turned my gaze to Dylan who was just scratching his hair uncomfortably. What the hell was that about?

"Not a word Jake!" Kylie growled, pushing me away so she was now standing across from Jake.

I don't understand anything, they just stood there staring at each other until Jake got one of his famous smirks on his lips.

"What the hell is going on?" whispered Brooke who now stood next to me. Or maybe she was actually screaming because the music was so high that you could barely hear your own thoughts.

"No idea" i mumbled but felt the clouds of worry arching up in my stomach.

"Everyone here already knows about it, so i think it's about time that Y/n should know" Jake started making me more confused. What did he mean by that, what did everyone know?

"You should also know that i never meant to hurt you Y/n, or Thomas. I was drunk and wanted you for myself, i have always wanted you" Jake continued making me gasp. He couldn't be serious?

"Shut up!" Kylie shouted and pushed Jake who just stood there staring at me.

"What....what are you talking about?" i whispered, feeling my whole body shake from the adrenaline pumping through my body.

"The fucking video. Y/n, i'm so sorry! I don't know what i was thinking, maybe you and i...." Jake mumbled while shaking his head as the words trailed off. That's when it all fell into place what he really meant.

"It was.....it was you" i gasped as everything started spinning in my head.

"Yeah, but it was all Kylie's idea, i never thought she would send it to you. I have been feeling so bad since the day you....at school....i should have said something when i found out that she had sent the video" he continued taking a step towards me but i just took a step back and turned to Dylan who looked completely devastated.
