With a jolt i awoke to a thump followed by low swearing and muttering before someone fell into the bed across from mine.

"Are you sleeping sweetie?" Thomas slurred. My god, he must be very drunk.

So they had emptied the liquor bottles i thought just like Thomas said. Sure, i may have been boring yesterday, but after an hour or so of playing with mocking comments and other things, i had enough and went to bed. Then i wished we had pushed the beds together so we could sleep together but now i was quite glad we never did. Thomas was drunk and smelled of booze and i really wanted to sleep.

"Love, are you sleeping?" he continued and i could hear him laughing.

"Mmhm, i'm sleeping" i mumbled and turned to face the wall.

"You are not sleeping, then you wouldn't have said you were sleeping" he slurred amusedly and i heard other words crackle. Oh no.

"Go to bed" i whispered with a sigh as my bed was weighed down.

"But i want to sleep with you" he whispered and laughed again.

Sure, Thomas was pretty cute when he was drunk but the beds were nothing more than narrow single beds so we never fit both of us in my bed.

"Go to bed, we can't fit in the same bed" i whispered and turned my face towards him.

"We...we can fit love" he stammered and i could see in the dim light that he was smiling.

It wasn't possible to share the same bed when it was so small, but there was no point to start a fight right now. I moved as close to the wall as possible, which didn't make a difference, when Thomas laid pretty much on top of me.

When Thomas breathed heavier i sighed and stared up at the ceiling even though it was dark in the room. There definitely wouldn't be any more sleep tonight, i thought, trying to find a comfortable position. Not because i didn't know what time it was, but it was probably a few hours until morning.

"I...i like you cutie" he murmured, burying his face against my neck. Cutie? so he talks in his sleep too.

"I like you too" i whispered closing my eyes.

"Very much?"

"Mhm, but sleep now, we are getting up early tomorrow" i whispered, feeling my stomach flutter. I could have been close to Thomas forever, but yes, i would have liked a bigger bed....and that he wasn't so drunk.

When Thomas's heavy breathing turned to light snoring, i gave up all attempts to fall back asleep. Seriously, how much had they really been drinking? i squirmed a little to get a seat but Thomas just pulled me into his arms.

"Be still love, it's spinning" he murmured so i had to bite my lip not to laugh.

"Of course its spins if you have had so much to drink as you seem to have done" i whispered so he grunted.

After a minute or so i felt my body crawl. Was there anything worse than lying still when you were absolutely not allowed to move? My body almost tickled with panic. I closed my eyes again and tried to relax. No use, i thought, opening my eyes again. I couldn't lie here like a dead zombie, wrapped by a Thomas, unable to move.
