* Two years later *

"Y/n, seriously, we have to check in the bags" i said but she just laughed and kind of waved goodbye as she walked off to one of the stores with Brooke.

"Why does she always do that?" i asked Dylan, who just stood there with a grin on his face and his hands in his pockets.

"Because she's stupid."

"But you are twins, so that means you are also stupid" i said teasingly and pushed Dylan.

"Thanks for that one, but i wonder who's more stupid? Considering you are with her" Dylan said with a laugh so i just shook my head.

"That's a very good question" i muttered and picked up the phone. Bloody hell!

With my phone in my hand, which showed that we have to check in like now, i tried to catch Y/n's attention but it didn't work, how much was there to look at in a bloody store? you just had to choose something and then move on, right?

"No need to stress, you know how she is, she will come when she comes" Dylan said with a laugh.

"Yeah, i know. But if she doesn't come now we will miss the plane" i said and took a deep breath.

"But calm down, i didn't think you were so nervous."

"Nervous? We have been planning this trip for a year and i'm not going to miss out our plans just because Y/n is walking around a bloody store" i said trying to see where the girls went.

After the spring term, Y/n and i had started talking about what we were going to do after graduation, we still had a year left of high school but for some reason she thought my wish list was the perfect list so we started planning this trip. There was no trip around the world, but we decided to go to Miami for three weeks and just have our own time.

"Now they are coming" said Dylan so i breathed out a deep sigh, finally!

"Look what i found" Y/n said happily holding up a key ring with a palm on it.

"Please love, don't you think you would have found one when we are actually in Miami?" i asked but she just rolled her eyes in response, as always.

"Stop whining, come on or we will miss the plane" she said amused and took her bag and left, again, together with Brooke. Sometimes you could think that they are glued together.

When the bags were finally checked in and we had said our goodbyes to Dylan and Brooke, i could breathe out for the first time in ages, we were here and we weren't going to miss the plane.

"Can you breathe now?" Y/n asked as we sat down on one row of chairs by our gate.

"What? I'm as calm as ever" i mumbled but couldn't stop the grin that played in the corner of my mouth.

"Mhmm, right" she continued, kissing my cheek.

I wouldn't be lying if i said the last two years have been easy. No one could get on my nerves as much as Y/n but i loved her more and more every day. I certainly wouldn't say our breakup was good in any way, it was the worst time of my life, but it had brought us closer and after that new year's eve i couldn't imagine living a day without her. cheesy, i know, but it was just the truth.

"Did you find out anything about the training by the way?" She asked so i flinched, a bad habit she made me start with, stuck in thoughts in the middle of everything.

"Uh no, not yet" i said and screwed up a bit, damn it, i needed to pee before we got on the plane.

Also it was something from my wish list that Y/n had pushed me to do, apply to the air force and pilot training. Honestly, i was more nervous about that application than doing this trip. It wasn't just a stupid thing i wrote, but becoming a pilot was something i really dreamed of.
