My enemy since childhood

Chapter 47

"Welcome to our home for the next few days" Brooke said expectantly and opened the door to our room.

I followed close behind her inside and squealed as we both flopped onto the large double bed. This would be absolutely perfect.

The room wasn't particularly big but it was good enough for the time we were going to spend there. A large double bed, two armchairs and of course a small TV that hung on the wall. Like i said, it was absolutely perfect. We wouldn't be in the room much anyway other than sleeping or just hanging out so there wasn't much more needed.

"Finally we're here for real" i said and closed my eyes.

"Yes, it will be as good as it gets, this room is much nicer than the last one i stayed in when we were here."

"I'm glad we chose a room instead of having to share a cabin, like with Kylie and Lizzy."

"That would have been fun too but of course, it's nice that we have something of our own."

"Honestly, i don't think it would have been particularly successful, not after what happened before."

"Do you think she's mad about that Thomas thing?"

"Um, yeah? She's kind of in love with him."

"Don't say that, maybe my little outburst brought Kylie right into Thomas's arms, revenge sex you know."

"Come on, not a chance that anything will happen between them."

"You never know" i said staring up at the ceiling.

"Stop sulking, we are going to have fun these days so don't think about it any more."

"You are right. But did the boys take a room or a cabin?"

"One of the cabins, but they are not too far from here."

"Good, i'm just happy if i don't have to run into them here in the corridor every now and then. But it seems to have worked out for the best. I would rather not have to see them at all."

"You are so negative, of course we will hang out with them, whether you want to avoid Thomas or not. We are going to have lunch with them now, for example."

"What? Why?"

"Beacuse we decided it while you and Thomas were sleeping on the bus."

"Bloody hell" i mumbled but honestly i wasn't particularly surprised. Our two gangs had somehow become one when Brooke and Dylan got together. For better or worse, mostly worse, i thought and stood up.

I heard Brooke laugh as i walked into the bathroom. Nice to be able to amuse someone, I thought grimly but stopped quickly. The bathroom was both large and absolutely beautiful. There is both a shower and a large bathtub. So, we must have gotten like the nicest room.

"Brooke! Come see!" i shouted, spinning around a lap.

"Wow, that's nice. I definitely didn't have this last time" she said as she walked over and put her arms around my shoulders.

Lucky we were alone because with squeals of joy we jumped around in a ring and laughed.

"Just wait until the others see this, i can never imagine that Kylie and Lizzy's room is nice like this" she continued and released her grip on me.
