Carrying all this equipment around was easier said than done. How could it look so easy to some but i fought not to end up on the ground. I swore to myself a few times before i found a way to balance everything. Then i just had to start walking, i thought and sighed. They should have a permit for this sort of thing.

"How's it going?"

I quickly turned around and met Thomas questioning gaze.

"It's going well you see" i said and took a harder grip on things. It was getting really heavy and the sweat was already running down my back.

"Do you need help, should i carry something?"

"No!" i replied, maybe a little too quickly when i saw a smile find its way to his lips.

"Are you sure? It looks pretty heavy" he continued with an even bigger smile to point out the obvious.

"I'm sure you have your own things to carry."

"It always works out now stop being so stubborn-" he started but was cut off when i heard someone call out my name.

I turned to see Ace walking straight towards us.

"Good thing you haven't left yet. I forgot to give you these" Ace said with a smile and handed me a pair of ski goggles.

"Thanks" i said trying to take it without dropping all the gear i was carrying.

"Without them you don't see much on the slopes. But i came to think of another thing, every morning i hold a course for beginners, maybe that would be something for you? I will help you so that you can learn to ride without the risk of break some bones the first thing you do."

"She doesn't need your help" Thomas said shortly and i could feel in the air how he tensed.

"I might need it. Thanks Ace, that sounds very nice" i said smiling at him.

"Perfect, you can come here at ten tomorrow and we will take it from there."

"Thomas!" i heard Kylie call but he didn't answer. I glanced between the guys and saw how Ace raised his eyebrows questioningly.

"I think your girlfriend is calling you" Ace told Thomas showing a dangerously dazzling smile.

"What? I don't have a girlfriend!"

"No? But that girl you came here with calls you anyway."

I wanted to laugh when i saw Thomas eyes darken at Ace's words.

"You should probably go there, she probably needs your help" i said and nodded towards Kylie who was standing with her hands on her hips. The only response i got from Thomas was a dark hard look before he turned and left.

"So see you tomorrow?" Ace asked when we were alone.

"Yeah, maybe. I will just come with Brooke, she's the one i'm going with."

"Okay, you are both welcome" he said before he winked and went on his way.

My god, it felt like i was exhaling for years. I cleared my throat and got a fresh grip on all the stuff before moving on to find Brooke.
