The week had really rushed by, actually these last few weeks had gone by so incredibly fast that you could barely keep up, i thought, poking around at the food on the plate. Today was Friday and soon was it weekend again, which meant that there was only one week left until christmas break.

Thomas and i hadn't had time to talk about christmas and the christmas break, we haven't been together that long, but i wonder if he thought we would do something on christmas eve? it would have been nice to see each other for a while. At least i hoped he felt the same because this week had been a bit....different.

"How are things between you and Thomas anyway?" Brooke asked making me wince.

"What do you mean?" i mumbled and cleared my throat.

"I know you have been arguing but i was thinking, is everything okay between you two?"

"Yeah, everything is fine" i said, glancing over at Thomas and the boys who were eating.

It was good between us, still a little awkward but it was good, absolutely. Okay, maybe it was good but it wasn't like before. That fight we had between us was gone, and that's a good thing, i hope.

Since that night on monday thomas has only slept over at my place once and i haven't been to his house again since the fight. Which felt a little strange, but it was like he.....i don't know, but it was a little tense between us, i have to admit. We were still hanging out with the gang as usual, but everything didn't feel like usual.

"Good" Brooke said so i turned my gaze to her.

"Aren't you and Dylan fighting?" i asked, taking a sip of the water.

"Uh no, not in that way" she replied making me raise my eyebrows, apparently they didn't.

"So, are you ready for tomorrow?" i continue to change the subject, thinking about why it was tense between me and him didn't make it any better.

"Absolutely, i have really missed our girls nights and i'm not in the mood to party."

"Me neither, after last weekend was enough for a whole year" i said with a laugh.

"What's so funny?" Thomas asked, sitting down next to me.

"We are talking about our girls night tomorrow and not feeling like partying after last weekend" i said with a smirk at Brooke.

"Eh, you just got a little too drunk" he said and gave me an amused smile.

"Not that little" i muttered as Jake and Will sat down at the table.

I continued to eat in silence glancing at Thomas from time to time, who also said nothing. I really hated this silence between us, it made my body crawl. I just wanted to shake him and ask him to say something teasing or maybe even mocking, then i could feel calm because that's the way Thomas is.

"Can you believe it's christmas break in a week, that means it's only nine days until christmas eve" Jake said sitting down across from me.

"I don't think you have been so nice this year, you can't expect any presents" i said amused glancing at Brooke who pursed her lips to keep from laughing.

"What? I'm always nice, right?" Jake continues, looking out over us sitting here.

I had to bite my tongue hard not to laugh as everyone around the table remained silent.

"There you are!" i heard Kylie's annoying voice echoed through the dining room. Ugh...

I looked up and saw both Kylie, Lizzy and Dylan sitting down at our table. Of course. I took a deep breath and continued poking around in the food. Thank god it was weekend soon, i thought, reaching for the water again, so i would't run into the them.
