Chapter 85

Fuck, fuck, fuck! what just happened? have i just cheated on Thomas? no....it was just a goodbye kiss between friends? a goodbye kiss with a guy i was fooling around with two days ago!

But it was Ace who kissed me and yes, i can kissed back a little but it was wrong of me and it was just a goodbye. I wasn't interested in him, i was in love with Thomas and only wanted Thomas, no one else.

"Y/n?"

I winced and looked up to realize i was standing outside the rental with the whole gang in front of me.

"Uh what?" i mumbled and shook my head, i hadn't realized that i was now standing outside like a question mark.

"Hey love" Thomas said as he walked up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hi" i whispered, trying for a smile despite my conscience racing with panic. This was not good, what the hell had i done?

"Is everything okay?" he asked, frowning.

"Uh yeah, i just wasn't expecting you guys to be here."

Thomas looked at me questioningly before leaning forward and kissing me. Could he see that i had kissed someone else? probably not but i almost felt guilty. I wouldn't exactly call it infidelity, but come on, i had fucking kissed another guy just a few minutes ago.

"Sure everything is ok?" Thomas whispered against my lips so i just nodded.

"How are you? Hungover?" i asked, meeting his gaze, he actually looked quite tired.

"Yeah, my head hurts like hell" he said and laughed.

"You have yourself to blame" i said teasingly and kissed him again.

"Guess so, but you get to take care of me on the bus" he mumbled so i giggled.

"Take care? I'm not your mother, am i?"

"No, but my girlfriend so you can take care of me now, it's included in the package" he said with an amused smirk so i just shook my head.

"It come from someone who has never been in a relationship."

"Eh, i learn fast" he said with a laugh and put one arm around my shoulders.

I walked close to Thomas as the others went. Well, it wasn't just Thomas who looked tired, i thought before meeting Brooke's questioning face. She, if anyone, could immediately see that something wasn't right.

"Should we return the equipment so we can get out of here?" Jake complained with a sigh.

"Haven't you guys done it yet?" i asked, immediately feeling the panic bubble up again. What if Ace was the one to help them, what if he said something to Thomas about the kiss.

"Not yet, we just arrived" Thomas said picking up the skis.

"Are you coming in?" he continued, nodding towards the door i had just passed, bloody gate.

"I think i'm staying out here, Brooke? Maybe you could stay with me?" i said giving her a meaningful look so she just nodded.

As the guys, along with Lizzy and Kylie, who were very quiet, walked in, i let out a deep sigh.

"What the hell happened?" Brooke whispered, pulling me a bit away.

"Ace kissed me!" i said in a panic, shaking my head.

"What? Did he kiss you? Doesn't he know you have a boyfriend now?"

"I think so, but he meant it as a goodbye kiss, we will never meet again."
