AS THE TWO KISSED, their lips moved in perfectly with the others in sync. Reid pressed her body closer to his as he deepened it, his tongue diving inside her mouth as she gladly gave him access while she tangled her fingers in his hair, messing them up.

Her hand went to lock the door behind them, however, before she could, someone attempted to open it from outside making the handle move, gaining their attention as they both pause their action.

It was the janitor who was trying to get in. However, the door was never opened as someone came to talk with the Janitor who was now leaning against the door as he spoke to the student while Lydia and Reid listened in, knowing they wouldn't be able to get out so they hoped that he'd go away.

But their hopes went flying out of the window when they heard him say, "just wait a sec, I gotta go take something from there."

"Shit," Reid muttered against Lydia's lips, their bodies still pressing against each other.

"What do we do?" The strawberry blonde questioned, her voice just above a whisper as she began looking around them frantically for another way out but unfortunately, there were only a bunch of boxes and no exit.

"Stay quiet," he slowly moved away from the door and turned them around so she was being pinned against the wall beside the door while he hovered over her just as the door was pushed open.

He only pressed closer to her, attempting to hide while the Janitor walked in and grabbed something before walking out, closing the door again.

"That was close," she breathed out against his collar bone since that was where she'd reach him in height. "We have to get to class."

"Or we can skip," he suggested, his hand moving from the wall beside her head to her waist, "we're late already."

"As much as I want to—" she leaned in and placed a quick kiss on his lips before moving away, "— skipping class is so not me and I intend on passing my exams this year. What about you?"

"I always pass," he rolled his eyes before running his fingers through his hair to fix them, "in case you didn't know, my IQ is higher than yours."

"Really?" At that point, she had taken out her lipgloss and was applying it.

"Two hundred," he stated, his lips curling up as he felt proud of himself upon watching her eyes widen. "You're joking."

"No, I'm not."

"But you're always talking about how much you hate school and skipping it—" she frowned, "how the hell is your IQ higher than mine?"

"I'm naturally smart," he bragged as he opened the door, smiling at the surprised look on her face, "oh, come on. No need to be jealous."

"I'm not jealous," she closed the door behind her once she stepped out and soothed down her dress, "I'm just highly shocked right now."

"Okay then no need to be overdramatic."

"I'm not," she spoke as they began to walk to their first class of the day, knowing that they were both late and it wouldn't take a genius to figure out why but somehow they couldn't care less. "It's completely normal for me to be surprised at what you just told me."

"Whatever you say, sweetheart."

She stopped walking and turned to him with a smile playing at her lips, "are we at the nickname basis already?"

"I can call you whatever I want," he looked down at her, "whenever I want."

"Just do me a favour," she stared at him, her features contorting into worried one, "I might not see you again after this class since I'll be really busy and all that so I'm going to tell you this now. Please don't get yourself killed tonight."

He couldn't help but smirk at her words and the clear concern lacing her features, "why, are you gonna miss me?"

"Of course," she rolled her eyes and cleared her throat, "after what happened in the janitor's closet, it's like whatever it is that I feel has just went up and—"

"— I know," he cut her off, "I won't die, don't worry about me. Now let's get to that class before it ends."
