"WHAT ARE YOU getting from this, really?" Reid asked Jennifer with his brows furrowed, "I mean, what's the point of this?"

"Oh, nothing–" Jennifer chuckled, "– I just want to see her reaction."

Reid glanced down at Lydia who was still holding his hand tightly. She was obviously scared and she could barely give a fuck about what Jennifer was saying. She didn't care what kind of creature Reid was.

"Vampires, Lydia." Jennifer spoke again, "and your boyfriend is one. He's... an abomination."

"Dude—" Reid chuckled, "— not you calling me an abomination when you look like you've been ran over by a train over and over again."

Jennifer clenched her jaw at his words, "you know, if you managed to kill your dad despite the fact that he was a hybrid then you can be killed too."

He clicked his tongue against his cheek, "I doubt that. I'm not my father."

"Leave that for me to decide," with a smirk, Jennifer rushed towards Reid and tried to hit him but he was quicker than her and instantly grabbed her wrist, pinning it behind her back as he slammed her head harshly on the table, keeping his hand around her wrists from behind and using his body to hold hers to the table.

"With your hands restrained," he began to speak from behind her, "you can't use your powers."

Jennifer groaned and attempted to free herself but he was too strong. Her powers did give her an advantage over him but if she wasn't able to use them, she knew it was game over for her. She realised how stupid it was to initiate a fight against him– a fight she knew she wouldn't win.

Reid's other hand went to his waistband where he pulled out his blade and without thinking twice, he stabbed her in the back, just beside her spine, watching as the blade buried itself deep inside her. Jennifer shouted in pain, knowing she wouldn't be able to heal until the blade was removed.

"Hurts, doesn't it?" He whispered, twisting it inside her, "now imagine how much pain I was in when you stabbed me with the leg of a fuckin' chair."

"You were about to do it to me too!" Jennifer shouted when he took the knife out then stabbed it back in her again. "Fuck—"

"— It's bad for a teacher to curse," Reid cut in, taking amusement in her pain, "stop putting up a bad example."

"You're a psycho, you know that?" Jennifer hissed when he grabbed her by the back of her head and threw her harshly on the ground not before removing the knife. She didn't the time to register what was happening when he stabbed the blade into her right palm, keeping her hand on the ground beside her head. He then removed another blade and buried it in her other hand, ignoring the screams she let out.

"Sorry, precautionary measures," he mumbled, "it's so you don't use your powers against me."

"You know Lydia is watching all that right?" Jennifer managed to ask, smiling evily at Reid who glanced at Lydia who was staring at her supposedly teacher wide-eyed. "She's seeing how much of a– complete deranged guy you are. She'll leave you, like everyone else."

"You think so?" Reid bent down, getting on one knee, "— I mean, I'm avenging her, after all. You tried to kill her, didn't you?"

Jennifer gritted her teeth together as she stared at the hybrid, "you—"

"—Here's how this is gonna go," he interrupted her, "you're gonna tell me where the fuck my mom is—"

"—And if I don't?"

He brushed her hair away from her neck, his long black claws came out of his fingers, "I'll slit your throat."

"If you do that, you'll never find out where she is," she chuckled despite her state, "I didn't keep her with the others, you see. I knew she's too valuable to die yet. Kill me and you never find her."

Reid clenched his jaw as he stared at Jennifer, his claws now digging into her skin, enough to draw blood but not to kill her.

"Look at her, Reid–" Jennifer smirked when Reid frown at her in confusion, "Lydia," she clarified, "look how she's shaking– scared of you. It's like you want her to leave."

Reid turned his head to look at Lydia who was sitting on the ground, her head against the wall as she watched the scene unfold. She barely acknowledged that he was looking at her as she kept her eyes fixed on Jennifer and then she began looking at the bodies around her.

"Stop trying to change the subject," he muttered, "tell me where she is."

"I will if you—" Jennifer was cut off when Derek walked in the apartment followed by Cora. Their eyes widened as they took in what was happening around them.

"What the—" Derek paused, looking at Reid then at Jennifer, "— what are you doing?"

"Lydia?" Cora rushed towards the strawberry blonde who was a mess while Reid stood up, looking at Derek, "what are you doing here?"

"I couldn't leave," Derek mumbled, glancing down at Jennifer. "What have you done to her?"

"Come on," Jennifer laughed, "neither of you really wants to kill me. Reid needs me alive for his mom while you, Derek– you need me to defeat Deucalion. So, let's make a deal, shall we?"

"No. You're going to tell me where the fuck she is and then I'm going to kill you."

"Reid, maybe we should..." Derek trailed off, giving Reid a look that made him groan, "please don't tell me you've got a soft spot for that thing."

"We should at least hear her out."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"N—"

"— Please." Derek said against himself, "maybe she can help. You saw what they did to her."

"I don't care about what they did or about your little fight against Deucalion anymore. She tried to kill Lydia," Reid mumbled, a deep frown on his face, "and she has my mom. She tried to kill me."

"And I won't do it again," Jennifer promised, "look– I swear, I'll even leave Lydia alone. If you let me go, you can save not only your mom but Stiles's father, Scott's mom and Allison's father as well."
